What are kenomimis? i keep seeing them everywhere. also i just joined this site today does anybody have any tips or advice?

"Kemonomimi" is basically a Japanese term that means "monster/beast ears"

They can umbrella into other terms like cat (nekomimi), dog (inumimi) and some others I can't think of. But they're humans with animal ears & tails most of the time, mix in some other features (horns/wings) in other times.

it's not a closed species is it? i can make them myself?

it's not a closed species, no! it's just a japanese term for catboys and stuff like that and thus not something anyone can own the rights to as a "species". you can make whatever people with whatever animal ears you want!

i love catboys it's literally all that's in my sketchbook. within a week I'll have a folder full. thanks for all the help c:

There are closed species kemonomimis, but they'll have their own species name. As long as you're not 100% copying off someone's CS/adopts, you are free to make all the catboys you can ever dream of.
