Not sure where to post this so I hope this is an ok place <3

TLDR: I've never really priced my art and I have no clue what my art is worth. Any help? (DM me please!)

So   I just got my first PayPal and it's motivating me to want to draw again. Not just for the money, but for the heck of it too as I feel like   I'm actually making progress in my life again. Problem is, if I do want to make any sort of a profit (to buy groceries and stuff) I need to charge for my work. I'm fine with charging for my work, but I have no idea how much to charge for it! I don't have a tablet or a scanner so all of my art is done traditionally or by my mouse/trackpad. This means my art takes much longer to make on average, and the art may be slightly lower quality than I'd like. I make it a point not to post any art I   make unless I'm proud of it, but that means I spend hours perfecting pieces. I'd just like to know if anyone has an idea of how much my art is worth quality-wise. It'd suck not to be at least worth $1 an hour but honestly, I'm not sure! Any help pricing or advice is welcome, please  DM  me any advice or anything if you want to help me!

I draw furry art, feral, and anthro. Simplistic or no backgrounds. Can be animated with a few frames. Nsfw available sometimes, ask.

If you want to buy or trade for my art, DM me as well ;) we can discuss pricing or trade details there.

TheImposter a ref sheet would probably take me three hours to make (since all i have is a mouse and no scanner or anything). I understand my quality of art isn't amazing or anything but $1.66/hr sounds just sad when minimum wage is like $7/hr. I respect your opinion that $5 would be what my art is worth it just makes me sad.

Charge minimum wage for where you're at at the very least! c:
The best rule of thumb I was ever given for pricing commissions was "Don't lower the price, raise the quality" - It takes time and practice, but ultimately it's good for both you and artist community's pricing as a whole! c:

Also, you have a very cute style <3 I especially love your use of color c:
