Okay, so I've got all the stuff I need. The laminator, the exacto-knife, the markers, paper, and the keychains. The only thing left that I need was a hole puncher. So I bought one and it instantly got jammed trying to go through just one 3mil laminating sheet.
So my question is; does anyone know of any hole punchers that can go through laminating sheets? The one I bought off of Amazon said it could go through plastic but obviously it couldn't, so I'd like to have someone show me one and them actually tell me it works from experience lol
Could you provide a link of the one you bought? I can't recommend a specific one. The only I have is extremely old and simple build (like so old I don't even know the brand or anything) made out of metal and is going through pretty much anything lol.
It could be that you either didn't use enough pressure, because you do need to pressure quite a bit, depending on the laminator paper and drawing paper OR the hole puncher is simply not suitable for it.
I’m almost positive I bought the same one and had no issues myself! like the other user stated it might be because lack of or too much pressure, or it might’ve been punched at a weird angle.
it also could be possible that your puncher might be a bit dull. try carefully folding a page of aluminum paper maybe once or twice, then punch the aluminum. I do this to sharpen my punchers and scissors, please be careful though as it’s easy to scratch yourself with aluminum!
