I've made a World for code editor discussion and suggestion! It would be great if you could post suggestions there so they're all in one place.

Preview your HTML/CSS code in various layouts as you type.

Toyhouse watermark previewer

Preview watermarks applied to images without uploading and regenerating.

A couple of code utilities for making certain aspects of using Toyhouse less tedious! The code editor shows a live preview of code as you type it, and the watermark previewer lets you preview the appearance of watermarks on images.

I created these tools to help make coding and applying watermarks easier. I'm not affiliated with Toyhouse and I'm maintaining these for fun in my free time. (If you'd like to support me, you can donate to my ko-fi.)

These are works in progress, and I've been fixing all bugs that I find/am informed of. I'm always happy for feedback, suggestions and bug reports! Do check the "known issues" section on the website to see what has already been reported.

That sounds perfect! Being able to see the pagination by default is great since anyone who is editing CSS most likely has the understanding of how to hide it if they want to see it without.

And yes! Such as Bulletins, Worlds, etc for User and then Gallery for Characters. I'm working on a layout from scratch so I'm super spoiled by your live editor and I've missed being able to use it haha.

Just wanted to thank you for creating such an absolutely amazing site! It help me learn a lot about bootstrap coding while viewing the result live. I've been using it ever since I first stumbled upon it and I could really say this was the best live code editor for TH so far✨

First let me say, Ive been using your page for ages and it is such a lifesaver <3 Thank you so much for this

But I recently made the jump to premium, and I'm a little confused about editing CSS? I put in the CSS I'm using, but I think because it's importing the style sheet it doesn't show up? Am I correct? Am I doing something wrong?

circlejourney

xmoriartea yeah, that sounds right--if it has an @import rule then it's trying to import a sheet from the Toyhouse website, and my code editor can't access it because it's protected.

xmoriartea

Ahhhh I see I see thank you!

Not sure if it's already been suggested, but have you thought about maybe adding some sort of resource / snippet section? Like, maybe something similar to the scratch pad, but it comes with a couple snippets / reminders of common things, like tabs / columns / links / images / etc, or a list of fonts, a key to the colours (primary, warning, danger, etc) that could be helpful for beginners (and/or people with bad memories like myself lol)? I know the scratch pad could be used similarly to this, but I feel like it ends up getting quite crowded and hard to go through when there's coding snippets, notes on what I wanna do, character notes, etc all in there, plus this could come with a couple things built in and we can maybe add to it? This probably isn't a super important thing to add, but maybe if you're just looking for something it could be an idea! It could perhaps be something you bring up rather than crowding another box on the screen, like how when you click the info button in the corner it brings up that pop up, maybe something like that? (sorry this got really long, hope my point got across okay through all of this!)

and just a small edit I thought of on the topic of the scratch pad getting crowded, what if you could add tabs to it? That way you could make a tab to write your character notes, make another for snippets, another for saving a link to something, whatever else you would usually write in there! That could be helpful for people who like to write a lot of different things in there!

sleepyyy I'm able to paste on my mobile so I suspect that pasting is an issue I will have to deal with on a device by device basis. If you could DM me with your device and browser, I may be able to investigate in more detail!

Miner5431 I do like the idea of multiple tabs--that would be easier to implement than a panel with templates and fonts since individual users probably have vastly varying needs and I could end up adding to it forever. It is true that it's getting harder to find ways to add features without making the interface confusing but I will try some things out after the current update in progress. Thanks for the suggestions!

Mercer

Stopping by to say the added features are perfect!!

Thank you for your continued hard work, you're wonderful.

circlejourney

No problem, thank you for the suggestions and for enjoying it!

hello! sorry if this has been asked before but some of the images that i use in the codes won't show up, i used different images because i thought it was the images i was using but it still wont show up. when i edit from the original TH editor and add the images manually, they change sizes which is very annoying as well, so i'm just in a tough spot right now. any help?
