Nyanpasu don't lose
I'm so new at this that it hurts, so I apologize for any dumb questions I give or if anything I say is just extremely eye roll material. I've been having problems with the 'Stack' layout that lowkeywicked gave out for free on this Thread of hers
I tried it out on this character https://toyhou.se/554143.imperia-mock and what I'm seeing is an ugly mess of boxes lined up in a row as opposed to the neat boxes shown here. I'm not sure if everyone else sees it as it's supposed to be seen but I see it like this and any help to figure out what the problem is would be extremely appreciated. Thank you!

As I can see off the bat you tried combining codes? Yours has more cards than the original so it might have been a copy/paste error. It could be a missing /div or you copied things into the wrong lines. Do you have the WYSIWYG Editor turned on? It often messes up the codes. Otherwise I wouldn't know unless I see the HTML code, maybe Wicked happens to stumble over the thread and can help you better!
most of the code looks correct (though i did notice the preferences box is missing its sizing & margin for some reason?)
did you turn off WYSIWYG? don't use the source code button, turn it off
KnightOfSpring I thought that at first but after obsessively pasting the same coding that was given and counting all the boxes I made sure I had 6, as the original also has 6. The cards themselves are sized weirdly and since I don't know how to code I try to not mess with the coding. WYSIWYG is off, as per the rules in the code document, so I'm stumped.
Edit: My bad, I realized I linked a different format called compress instead of stacked, stacked is the one I tried to link back to for reference!

lowkeywicked I made sure that WYSIWYG was turned off before posting the code and I copied and pasted the code multiple times, in case it was an error, but nothing made it better and it continued to show up like that. I tried asking a few friends but they weren't sure what happened so I decided to post a thread. Regarding the source code button, I apologize if this sounds like a dumb question, but would that be the WYSIWYG thing or something different?

the source code button is when you have WYSWYG turned on, but hit the button that lets you input code manually... even though you're typing in th ecode, it still goes through the WYSIWYG editor and will still break O:
i had some time at work, i looked through your profile & the reason it is breaking is cuz there are a ton of no space breaks added; this is caused by the WYSIWYG editor. it must be turned off here: https://toyhou.se/~account/display
if you turn the editor completely off, paste in the coding again & it still breaks, can you take a screenshot of your edit screen? what the screen looks like where you input the code, so i can look at it
lowkeywicked Thank you so much! For some weird reason, it wasn't turning off even though it said it was off so I turned it on and then turned it off again before pasting in the code. Hopefully, it doesn't go wonky on me while I'm filling in her information. I really appreciate all the help!
