Hi; this is a heads up regarding breaking images on site.
This is due to a DNS issue that our image host is experiencing - a tweet thread regarding current status is available here.
To clarify, no existing data has been affected, all uploaded images are still safe on the servers; the problem is that the URL is not directing correctly to the file. Images should start working immediately again once the domain registrar is directing traffic correctly. Unfortunately there's not much we can do on our end except wait for this issue to be resolved, but I will keep this thread updated.

I'm currently looking into our architecture to see if we can make it more robust; while we keep backups of all our files, we don't currently have a way to quickly pivot to another service if our primary service goes down like it did today. This will take a bit of code clean up, which I'll be putting in this week.
