Apologizing for the mess now, because TH forums are a bleeding mess.
So this is first time making one of these boards in a long time - and pardon the awkwardness I guess? I guess I'll just go ahead and say I'm 25 - so if there's anyone with an age issue that's where I sit on the spectrum. I generally consider myself a no-limits roleplayer regarding most things, but I don't normally get too crazy until I get a feel for what kind of roleplayer you are and where the limits are. Also, I'm more than happy to keep things PG or whatever rating we'd like just lemme know where your limits or boundaries are. I can roleplay here, skype or Discord. Also sorry in advance but I'd really prefer if my partners were at least 20 years old. Just. It's more comfortable and less anxiety inducing for me.
Occasionally I might come off as cranky or unapproachable at times but I promise I'm actually a super lax person, sometimes I just come across a little odd because I don't human to human that well because of things but please don't let that intimidate you.
Tldr; Roleplaying things. First and foremost: if you don't like long wordy posts - I'm probably not the person for you. My replies and intros are generally very long winded. I don't expect people to match them if they don't want but I ask that I at least get one-two paragraphs in return. Imo, I'm sorry but I don't think five sentences is that difficult and it's basically the bare minimum I find myself able to work with. Though I don't generally do such things before I get to know people, I'm more than happy to do smut or kink; just talk it out with me beforehands. I really don't have any other beef with rules, and find that working things out in-roleplay often work best. I won't be dropping godmod rules here because honestly a little powerplay is sometimes necessary to move things along and there are times power balances just aren't even. I kind of expect most of us have been doing this long enough to know how to handle things like adults.
So I'll just get right into it with my three jerks
Aka; Shooter dad
He's got most of a bio - but what you need to know about him is basically that he's a cranky jaded old shooter colonel who's stuck/on lockdown in the shooter Capitol. Liam probably can't/won't be used outside of that setting so he's more limited than the other two characters I'll post. Doesn't trust most other shooters so to speak, probably has all the dirty dirt on just about everyone and has a giant sweeper son because he couldn't care less about that convention. Likes the ladies - romantically speaking and spends a lot of his off time just being romantic with the women who work in brothels or like places. In fact he's a little notorious for it because all he wants to do is chastely date or otherwise socialize without doing anything one would normally expect with a working girl. Works as a drill sergeant/instructor in basic training as well - having been taken off the more active duty ranks.
Possible interaction ideas?: Students, Rivals, Friends, Enemies, Lady-friends, basically idk throw me anything I'll work with it
Ex-necromancer nerd. Basically a good guy now, or something. Kind of a loner weirdo, he's not necessarily antisocial but he does enjoy his alone time. Travels around and finds bodies in the area around where he lives and cleans/preserves them to the best of his abilities - going so far to bring/send them home if it's within his power to do so. Can come across as a bit vapid or space-y at times - likes his narcotics. Because his magic was such a drain on him Vikram has trouble keeping his appearance/age in check; and sometimes he'll wake up on the 'ugly' side of the bed looking nearly twice his age. Infamous once upon a time as a necromancer capable of raising hundreds of bodies at once and giving the 'victims' retribution for their death - inevitably making him a constant attacker of shooters and small groups of brigands. Taking care of and putting to rest the bodies of strangers is his form of repentance for his prior violence. Very easygoing and eccentric. Vikram has a mostly complete profile- feel free to actually read that nonsense.
Possible interaction ideas: Basically everything idk just let me use my creepy death fanatic; he's actually pretty flexible setting wise
I'm going to just stick this WAY UP HERE before we even begin and let you guys know that he following character is a smol utter shitlord; TW for him being abusive, sometimes dubcon and just all around trash.
Are you still here? Ooookay. Hillshire is a very affluent eater from an old noble family, and also a prominent member of the business community. Technically he's an earl, though his title means less in Ivoryhelm than other places. A hot mess of emotional and psychological problems - Hillshire has control and anger issues with strong tendencies to take them out on his employees and house staff. Disgustingly wealthy and the owner of several very successful businesses, three of which are popular clubs. Makes most of his income from his legitimate operations but doesn't refrain from dabbling in the black market or more illegal activities. When it comes to maintaining his wealth, reputation and power Hillshire has no problem shoving his (few) morals aside to accomplish his goals. Involved in politics as much as he is in the business sector, he despises the current king -finding him to be weak and wholly ineffective. Very good actor, keeps his public appearance and reputation clean - but isn't afraid of letting his sociopathic attitude of loose within the walls of his own home. Wouldn't know what empathy was if it bit him in the butt - blame the lack of hugs when he was smaller.
Interaction ideas: Business partners, Rivals, Employees*, political rivals/friends, Enemies,Informants, God help me idk why you'd be interested in this tiny terrorist
Currently looking specifically for: Valet/Butler, housing staff (possibly including slaves or indentured servants - GL making him play by Ivoryhelm rules) and always more bodyguards
For now, all I've got is I'd love to RP Cynrik with Hillshire. \o/ I love the sound of the other two, but I don't think I have anyone interesting to throw at either of them.
(Though I plan on making some shooters in the MYO and you can bet your booty I'd love to throw them at Gilgamesh afterwards. >:3 )
So, it might be fun to have Vikram meet Alois, my Stardasher ghost. Effectively, she's an alchemist/medicine maker who died in a fire and uses magic to keep her (mostly) physical form intact with the intention of keeping an eye on the people she spent years interacting with and taking care of. While she's not a corpse, she is, in a way, dealing with death magic herself and is deceased, for all intents and purpose. If he travels, he may have heard word of the Stardasher ghost living deep in the swamp.
Note that lore is a bit shrouded in mystery as I tiptoe around what Itchy gave me to work with (while also trying to avoid too much special snowflake) so if you like mystery, there's that. :P
I also have a Shooter gal, Aubergine, my beloved eggplant. I'm not sure I can find any good hooks for her and Gilgamesh, but I'm open to any ideas - maybe she sold/rented him a sexy lady one time? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Einnob Oh yes, I'd love to do something with Hillshire and Cynrik. C: Do you have anything specific in mind or no? If not maybe start a little casual, work off some of the roleplaying rust - perhaps something silly like a fitting or a business lunch. Also yesss, all I can say is that I'm generally open to more roleplays even if they take me a little while to respond to. So if you get some shooters please feel free to lump them on Gilgamesh; I'd love to get more roleplays in with my grumpy old guy.

Y'know that could be interesting - Vikram does like ghost/robbers/undead anything and he could undoubtedly use at least one acquaintance that knows how to make make potions or other specialized items. I can definitely see him going to investigate rumors of something odd in the swamp. Ghost and dead things? It wouldn't hurt to give them a short intro together anyway, I'm sure they'll find at least one thing to talk about. I could try and just go for the intro you already have up or we could start from scratch
As for Aubergine idk, that'd be an interesting one to try and pull. I don't think Gilgamesh as he is currently, is the sort who would have bought/rented a slave or girl from someone; he's got a whole thing about wanting to genuinely romance people and like it's - difficult if you're essentially taking a slave on a date? XD: But he also has an adopted sweeper son and Idk how he feels about slave trading anymore - BUT BACK in the day he might've dealt with Aubergine's father. She's so great though I wish I had another shooter or something to push at her because augh. They do share interest in theatre which is interesting and a possibility. I'd say that it could've been possible that she might've been one of his students but I don't see anything about her going through a military academy so I don't think that'd pan out. Rghles. Best case you might get shooter dad coming in to grump at you about your life choices or something because you darn theatre kids. If I get any more SD's smooshed at me and I have someone who fits I'll probably be there to drop them on you if you're still looking for roleplays at that point/.
