i think the user can inherit a combination of their parents' quirks, but no one can really have two quirks or more at the same time (unless the other quirk is one for all or smth). that's how the nomus were made. :^0 please correct me if i'm wrong
Is it possible for a person to inherit two quirks? Kinda like shouto but not half and half? If that makes sense.
For example my OC's dad Hibiki, his Father has a quirk which lets him control nearly everything to do with vibrations, ie: can make sounds, amplify vibration + noise, quieten and lessen vibration and noise and create large bursts from high frequency vibrations, can also run and jump high by making a burst under their feet and echo location. You name it and this quirk can do it if it requires control over vibrations.
Now this quirk sounds op but for the user create vibrations from their own body (which is the strongest way to use their quirk as noise and vibrations around them take time to bounce off of them making the performance weaker than making the vibration themselves) the users very cells need to vibrate and used at extremely high frequencies this ability can cause a lot of pain and can cause damage to the users body and organs, especially eyes and the intestines/heart.
The user also has incredibly sensitive hearing which is a major draw back if the user isn't wearing a kinda...reverse hearing aid, they can turn the frequencies of vibrations they can hear up or down xD ... Sorry I'm getting off track.
Now back to the question I got side tracked… now that is Hibiki's father's quirk but his father cannot use it to the potential he used to bcus he's old now. BUT Hibiki's mother's quirk made her organs (yes including her skin) extremely durable, so durable that it was very hard to stab the woman and all of her organs were like this.
Now is it possible that Hibiki inherented his father's quirk, BUT also inherited his mother's a little, his skin and organs can be stabbed but they are more durable than a normal persons, letting him use his vibration quirk to a higher level than his father as it takes more to injure and disrupt his organs.
Pls tell me if this is possible ahhh.
Also I know he's op but let me have a self indulgent villain dad okay. He deserves the power.
From what I understand canonically people can usually inherit a combo of their parents quirks
BUT
the cool thing is you can do pretty much whatever you want cause you’re making the character.
You could think out of the box too with a quirk that is similar to the parents, but has “mutated” to be something different
