(to clarify, they don't have to be a priest, they can be a demon/evil spirit hunter in some way or another, even if it's not something they do a lot/as a job)

Sergio here is technically capable of banishing demons from the mortal realm, but it isn't his career. He's a nephilim (half-angel), so I guess it could be said to be a side-job for him.
it's... a side biz...
her primary 'daytime work' generally revolves around psychic and supernatural things (sellin Funky Things, fortune telling, care services for psychic/ghost pokemon), so getting rid of bad spirits/demons is already up her alley. have a ghost pour milk on the floor trying to drink it every night at 3:27am? she'll get rid of it for you. she'll even give you a two in one deal - she'll help you get possessed and throw in an exorcism for free! though the last part is really uh. an actual thing she advertises
though running a witch store is her daytime job, her real job is essentially being the person who deals with gods causing too much drama .... and demons are p much just dramatic gods, right??? right?? she's really good at it though, and conflict between divines seems to be at a low because they think aster is scary. she wouldn't call it 'hunting', but 'keeping peace' but like..... cmon
H/J has done both demon-hunting and exorcism during hir roleplay. Pictures probably speak more than words so I'll have to link some. XD
Here's some of the demons s/he met. 1. A very possessed princess (either Margaret or Elizabeth II, s/he never confirmed which). The whole scene had turnt out to have been an illusion-sequence but a frightfully realistic one in terms of behavior. 2. A demon extracted from a possessed woman, in the shape of a giant spider. 3. The woman from whom the demon was extracted, before the exorcism. Jane Parker, a test subject of The Royal Supernatural Department. 4. A nice, shapeless demon that made you feel like it was going to eat you from the inside if you looked at it. Chased by a cat-familiar.
Here and here (bottom left)- hir first proper field-job at demon-hunting. Hir investigation partner (who IS a specialized demon-hunter AND a nephilim) basically drove hir out to an abandoned, bomb-damaged butchery and sent hir in. S/He ended up running away schrieking, eventually getting rid of them by using supernatural power for the first time, fueled by hir terror over the idea of getting possessed. S/He zapped the swine-demons with a crucifix-shaped bout of lightning, which recoiled a moment later but was nonetheless extremely effective for its intended purpose.
Demons in that setting are weak against anything that's powered up by symbological significance - it can be a cross just as well as someones favorite coffee mug. So exorcists in that setting use pennies (as they have the picture of The King on them and are really easy to come-by) as a low-grade demon-repellant. S/He had some less major (and un-illustrated) run-ins with killing demons as well, by means of the nephilim-blokes fancy dagger. That said s/he remained deathly afraid of demons and being possessed, because being around a demon can make you feel all sorts of traumatic sensations.
Had s/he not succumbed to hir werewolf-injuries I think s/he'd have become embittered overtime, and taken on demon-hunting full-time. I even had a nice headcanon get-up for that eventuality. Using a pair of connected, custom-made rapiers as a means of controlling electricity and grounding any recoil from using power. Had some illustrations of that on the sketch-compilation with the swine-demon pics as well. S/He'd have been awesome!
Though I don't own him I need to give a shout-out to hir NPC asshole nephilim investigation partner. Daniel Samson Clarke. Picture, another picture after a 2-year timeskip. Rude, crude, borderline murderous and incredibly effective at killing demons due to honed emotional control. In fact he thinks that women are creepier than demons because "they act on emotions". His method of choice is shooting demons with special bullets, which really annoys some of the other supernatural folks because they have to cover up after him. He's got a collection of bottled demons at home. He's got a cat-familiar who literally eats demons for breakfast.
In fact most of the NPCs are slowly turning into demon-hunters because the central conflict of that roleplay is figuring out and dealing with the issue of there being an ever-increasing amount of possession-cases across the world.
Sakura is a yōkai hunter! She works for a temple and her duty is to vanquish the evil yōkai as per request or if they seem like a threat.
Flint's an exorcist! There's a couple different variants of "ghosts" in his world, but he hunts all of them, and will sometimes do so on request, a bit like a private investigator. He also tends to keep an eye out for people who are in the early phases of possession.
There are a few other exorcists in his city, all with unique methods, and most of them don't get along. Flint gets looked down on by one little gang in particular for his habits with flashrunes, a very strong magic style that's also highly addictive.
i've also got two psychic mediums, Saunders and his apprentice Sully, but while they do some exorcism stuff, that's not their main gig.
She fights demons and other kaijin if they are trying to start shit, and she even got cyborg enhancements to be able to do so effectively. Though not every demon, the nice ones can stay.
Nick and Henry are occult detectives, so they deal with demons and ghosts pretty often!
