This hybrid of species man is supposed to constantly rescue trainees and upcoming children from becoming soldiers in the mysterious Organization.
The Organization takes traumatized young boys and messes around with different species of blood so that the young men have their physical traits altered. Leading into a half demon/half human(?) soldier as an end product. They are created so they can combat the Chaos. A God believed to be a myth, until it started ravaging and killing off species to the point where they are all extinct.
However, the process to become a soldier is brutal, lonely, and very painful. And each soldier is walking on borrowed time. There is a present danger for these soldiers, along with a terrible secret that the Organization doesn't want soldiers to know.
Amé found out that truth on a whim, and ever since then, he has given up his position as No.1 and dedicated his remaining days to save any children he can from the process of becoming a soldier, and harvesting the terrible truth.
Solana is a travelling chef. She sets up shop where ever there are hungry people and checks out local cuisine while she's at it to add to her repertoireÂ
A Missing Persons detective. He's not really in it for the money, he just 1. became a cop to p*ss off his family since they don't get along and they expected him to become a doctor (they consider police work to be beneath them), and 2. unconsciously he was modeling himself after an undercover detective who went missing and was killed trying to protect him, so it was kind of like carrying on his legacy. (Though my OC was only consciously aware of the first reason.)
He didn't even intend to get into Missing Persons, just that it was a new unit that had no members yet (for a while he pretty much WAS the Missing Persons Unit) and he's really good with recognizing faces (and already tends to spend late nights browsing databases on the computer), so that's where they stuck him. He doesn't even seem particularly passionate about the work, he's merely good at it.
Teddy is currently a full-time college student studying abroad in Japan. He's only studied Japanese for two years in America, and although he's a fairly decent speaker he still has a lot to learn before he can be considered fluent, so he took up becoming an English tutor during his stay. He figured he can make a little money while also bettering his Japanese in the process. It's okay for the student to teach the teacher every once in a while.
