Feral Character Chat!!

the calico molly tilted her head. she wasn't used to nicknames, but... something about the pup's excitement persuaded her into it. "sure, why not?" she smiled a little, then sat down. "so, where are you all from?" she hadn't walked that far from the valley, mothfeather reckoned, yet this place was unlike hillclan territory. regardless, she saw no reason to try to lay her clan's claim on it - she was no warrior, after all.

she looked up at pumpkin again, surprised. "you have clans too?" starclan be blessed, that meant there were more potential allies out there! ...and potential enemies. she shook her head ever-so-slightly. nah, it wasn't worth it to waste time thinking about trouble when there were new species to meet. "what are your clans like?"

Pumpkin nodded as it spoke. "I'm from the Oska'walda mycorrhiza, it's uh, kinda like a clan but smaller and more closer to each other, I'm the healer of the group."

Greysun smiled happily as his tail swayed. He shrugged a bit. 

"Im from here there, and well... everywhere.. ive never had an actuall home but yeah." 

He laughed a bit. 

"ah, another healer!" mothfeather purred. "i'm my clan's medicine cat - the only one, but i kinda wish i had an apprentice." looking down at her paws, she wondered if any of the current kits had an affinity with herbs. as far as she could recall, all of them were excited to be warriors... perhaps she wouldn't get to be a mentor this time, but there was always the possibility of new litters on the way.

Greysun listened, but was pretty lost. He didnt understand this.. clan, pack stuff. He scratched at his ear.. only to see a frog.. he slowly stopped itching and lowered his body to the ground

"Huh, weird, are you implying there's more than one healer per clan? Where I came from you're lucky if you have a healer, not every species has that healing touch and those who do would rather stick to their own kin and not some other random critter."

"well... not really. there's one medicine cat and their apprentice, but they're both trained in healing so it's more or less the same." mothfeather explained, then gasped at what the creature had to say. "there are clans with no healers?! that's awful, how do they speak to the stars, then?" she couldn't imagine a clan with no medicine cat. the leader could speak to the ancestors, yes, but there was no other rank in tune with the stars. and if a clan couldn't speak with starclan... then there was nothing keeping it from falling apart.

Bubba looked at mothfeather and let out a little sniffle. Her words made him feel like his mom didn't care about him, which isn't true(she does). "She watches over me mothfeather." he tried to explain, his ears flattening a bit.

"Well you see," Pumpkin struggled to find the right words for a moment. "It's more complicated than you think, the trees usually heal us so a healer isn't necessary but they're very ... selective, only the ones they like live and the rest dies. I'm not sure what you meant by talking to the stars tough, that's insect talk."

He senced Buds sadness as he straightened himself and walked over. "Its okey bud." He said placing a paw inbetween buds ears.. his paws where almost the size of the pups head.

Hmm.. well. Maybe like moana! Like. How the world is dying.. and the three adults need to find the jewl and the pup secretly follows! And then they notice him? Possibly meeting more companions on the way//
