sasha cynocardia

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

"i like marie's cat. i think i like cats. dogs are loud. the purring is nice. i even like it when she interrupts me, or climbs on my shoulders, though she is heavy..."

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

"there's nothing good about being wet. it makes me sneeze. it doesn't usually make people sneeze, ok, well, if it did, and you almost drowned, you wouldn't like it. it can give people pneumonia! hypothermia! colds! i don't know! i don't like it, but it is your jurisdiction! why would i try to convince say, a swimmer, that water is bad? they can see with those goggles? well, i can't. i mean, that's visible, isn't it, the eyes don't track, but, it is your jurisdiction, though. you decide what is worse!"

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

"avila? avila, she was... maybe my grandmother, i guess, but she wasn't related to me. i liked her. she taught me what was good and what was bad, and i helped her cook and garden. i don't remember how to do any of that anymore, you know, mostly i just watered things. i don't know what i remember. i got supplies out of the pantry. potatoes and sugar. those don't go together, two separate occasions. weevils. (they make a face) ah, she didn't like that..."

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

"stomach, kidneys, bladder. spine. heart. ah. the brain can stay. legs, sometimes. (they scowl) esophagus."

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

"(clearly had to think about it for a very long time) birds. i like watching them hop around on the ground... they are so small. and there are so many in the city. you would think the lights and sound and people would deter them. did you know pigeons are domesticated? ah, i can't remember. the little brown-grey birds you see in parking lots, i like those. they're not in any of my books. i would like to know what they are. we get birds in the yard. thrushes and doves. doves are, i think, a type of pigeon."

(Answers given with an IC amount of capslock. Hope that's okay! Also, do let me know about future QAs!)

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

THESE DAYS IT IS COMMONPLACE TO CALL ANY FOUR LEGGED BEAST OF CONSIDERABLE CHARISMA 'DOG'. THIS IS MY FAVORITE ANIMAL. DOG NOT AS IN THE GOLDEN RETRIEVING, BUT DOG AS AN ABSTRACT CULTURAL AMALGAMATION OF BEASTS DESERVING OF PATS. DO I WANT AN ABSTRACTED DOG IN MY LAIR? PERHAPS!!! A CREATURE YOU MIGHT SQUINT AT AND GET THE IMPLIED ESSENCE OF DOGHOOD!!

EXCEPT, I DON'T REALLY HAVE A LAWN, NEITHER AN ABSTRACTED OR A PHYSICAL ONE, AND EVERYONE KNOWS YOU CAN'T HAVE A HAPPY DOG WITHOUT A LAWN TO ROMP AROUND IN. I ALSO LIVE ON A THRONE OF UNCONTROLLABLE POISON. SO MAYBE NO DOG PLANS FOR NOW :(

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE HAS A SHORT SHELF LIFE. THE THING DECAYED FASTER THAN A BORON-7 NUCLIDE ON MY MORNING TOAST. WHAT WAS ONCE RIVETING HAS BEEN GLOBALLY EXHAUSTED AND DULLED TO THE POINT WHERE INVOKING THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE IS THE LEAST SURPRISING THING YOU CAN DO WITH IT. IT'S NOT SPECIAL, I DRANK THE FLUID OUT OF MY LAVA LAMP AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN A SURPRISE SINCE THEN

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

... I HAVE DECIDED! I WOULD RATHER NOT ANSWER THIS ONE!!!!!

PEOPLE ARE CAPABLE OF REWRITING YOU, YKNOW? PEOPLE ARE CAPABLE OF BURYING THEMSELVES INSIDE YOU AND BEING ALL THAT YOU ARE. THEY DO THIS SO THAT THERE'S LESS OF YOU AND MORE OF THEM, MORE ROOM FOR THEM TO STRETCH MORE FOR THEM TO TAKE TO TOUCH TO EAT. I WOULD RATHER MY STORY BE ABOUT ME AND NOT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO CRAWLED IN WITH THEIR TEETH, PEOPLE WITH THEIR NOSY KNIVES PEOPLE WHO ARE LOCKPICKS BREACHING MY ANATOMY MY MIND MY ME UNTIL I AM NOT ABOUT MYSELF ANYMORE.

SO I'M NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE PEOPLE INSIDE ME. BECAUSE I WANT MY STORY TO BE ABOUT ME. AND NOT ABOUT ME BEING ABOUT THEM.

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

ANYTHING IS A BOLDLY WIDE TERM!!!! WHICH MEANS!!! THE MOST TEMPTING OF LOGISTICAL ABUSES ARE OPEN TO ME!!!

MY FIRST THOUGHT WOULD BE TO DEMOLISH HUMANITY'S CEILING TO WHAT OUR MINDS ARE ABLE TO COMPREHEND, ON A PURELY BIOLOGICAL LEVEL. AN EASY EXAMPLE OF THIS IS NUMBERS- WE PHYSICALLY CAN NOT INTERNALIZE WHAT A BILLION OF SOMETHING IS. THE SCALE SIMPLY IS NOT DESIGNED TO FIT IN OUR BRAINS. AFTER SOMETHING STUPID LIKE 12 WE STOP BEING ABLE TO PICTURE NUMBERS OF THINGS. WE HAVE MATHEMATICAL TOOLS TO KEEP TRACK OF THESE NUMBERS, OF COURSE, BUT WE CAN'T PICTURE IT IN OUR BRAIN JUICE!!!!!!

NOW, TAKE THAT, AND APPLY IT TO EVERYTHING WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO PICTURE THE COLORS BETWEEN WAVELENGTHS!!! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EMOTIONS A VIRUS FEELS! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND NON-EUCLIDEAN SPACE!!!! I WANT TO READ COMIC BOOKS IN 4 TIMELINES!!! I WISH TO STARE CTHULHU IN THE EYE AND NOT EVEN FLINCH, BECAUSE EVEN THE ELDRITCH CAN BE CONTAINED IN MY MIND!!!!! NO LIMITS NO GODS NO MASTERS!!!!!

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

SOCKS WITH LITTLE FACES ON THEM. EARRINGS THAT LOOK LIKE TOYS. 3D PRINTING GLITCHES. THE MAN-O-WAR JELLYFISH (MY FAVORITE SECOND ANIMAL). ANTS WRITING SONNETS OUT OF ODORANT PARTICLES. THE BLUE SHEEN OF A NUCLEAR REACTOR. SKA BANDS AT MAXIMUM VOLUME. GREEN FOOD DYE. THE SHAPES AND COLORS IN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU STARE AT THE SUN THAT ONLY YOU WILL EVER SEE, AS THE RESULT OF A THIN LAYER OF BURNT EYEBAL CELLS QUICKLY REGENERATING OUT OF DEATH DUE TO A MIRACLE WE SOMETIMES CALL SCIENCE.

Sanya Itrillis Cliodna

(i'd like to be pinged when new questions show up please :) )

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

"I really like the itrillian false-sparrow. They're a small species of the itrillian flying fish who've taken to inhabiting human settlements. They've got these huge, black eyes and are covered with reddish-brown fibre-scales. It's always delightful to see them flittering around the rooftops, but I'd never keep one as a pet since they're said to waste away in confinement. When it comes to exotic pets I'd actually like to own then I'd much rather get a lemur. I hear that they're intelligent too so I could teach it tricks."

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

*seems confused by the question and then taps away at their phone for a minute* "Uhm. Protactinium, maybe? It's toxic, unstable, radioactive and, according to internet, completely useless."

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

"My father. He's groomed me since youth to be his replacement. Up until recently he's given me everything whilst watching over my every move with the same diligency as the mother-planet in our nightsky. A lot of my moral questing, future plans and formative quirks have to do with either him or a desire to rebel against him. Even my kidnapping by radicals had been something he had foreknowledge of and approved of..."

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

"I'd like to have some laws regarding business and trade in the Galactic Union changed or removed. They were made centuries ago with the intention of protecting colonies from famine and hoarding of resources, but have since been used to foster out-of-control capitalism, leaving a number colonies in famine, resourceless and unable to cut out the companies who pretty much own their GDP. Nearly all evil I've witnessed in the universe so far all traces it's roots back to the unseen crimes of megacorporants and the villainization of those who try to stand up to them."

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

"The native philosophies of planet Raucon and the ayani philosophy or...religion, if you may, that's built upon it. If you look into the tenets of that worldview then it basically just describes the recipe for a good society, but too many people write it off as "that ideology which the terrorists follow". Honestly I am a little dismayed that in most people's views ayani relates to hypocrites who attack corporate buildings and "threaten stability" and I hope that, given enough time, more will come to see past the actions of the most extreme of that philosophy's followers."

Gideon Massok Half_Pint_Verdance

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet? Hm, I haven't thought much about it... Cats, maybe, or bearded dragons. I probably wouldn't keep any as pets, though, they need fresh air and space. Not much of that here underground.

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite. Lightning. It's unpredictable and easy to let out of control. It's painful when it does get loose, and there's better ways to do everything it does. Starting fire? Flint and steel. Light? Fire, or some light magic. Energy? Can't think of a better thing off the top of my head, but I'm sure you could easily make something. Lightning sucks.

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why? Dominik, easily. He's there for me, he helps around the library, spends so much time around here that I'm not used to him being gone anymore. He's wonderful.

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be? Hm. Probably mosquitos. Little to no benefit to the world, and I swear - in a world with so much magic, you'd think the most annoying thing you could find would be magical, right? Not so! It's mosquitos! Thank god I live underground, I don't think I'd be able to survive up on top. I don't know how Rai does it.

5.) What's underrated in your opinion? Jinuen! Most of them are terrible, yeah, but the ones that aren't, have the best of hearts and personalities. Take Epsilon, for example, over at the Guild. She's wonderful! And Dominik, of course, I don't think I need to say anything there. Kensi and Monoko are great, and Damion is a joy to be around, even if he is a bit shy.

(I'd love to be notified for new questions!)

MAGPIE 🐰 カササギ yoseob

alright!! an interview... nothing I'm not used to!

1.) what's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet? ; "i know it's kiiinda a generic answer when you look at my appearance but... the rabbit will always be a near and dear animal to me. and i do have a bunny of my own, her name is moonpie!! though i mostly just call her pie because my idol name is MAG... so together we're magpie!! she's been with me since i was way younger.. and she has these floppy ears unlike most bunnies. we're best friends living through life!! stilll... i don't think she's a fan of the tutus and sweaters i put her in."

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite. ; "hmm... in regards to maybe fire and water and stuff... i've never been a fan of the wind. it's really difficult to have long hair when the wind is breezing... honestly i can barely keep it out of my mouth. why it's the worst element is up to your hair length i suppose! for me... long, tangled, curly hair is the WORST combination with a breezy day."

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why? ; "ghh.. i'll go over both sides of the spectrum if that's okay. i'll say, over my whole life and even afterlife, nez has been the little guy to really make the good side of me shine through. after experiencing a lot of abuse from my manager, i figured i was a terrible person. i got so... accustomed to being called bad things that nez's mean words never affected me. it pissed him off real bad at first... he'd say stuff 'get mad at me' or 'fight back' and i just. didn't. soon enough we got the stereotypical sibling dynamic type thing... he'd get mad at me and i'd get mad back, though most of my retaliation was a joke and i never meant to hurt him personally EVER. i learned my lesson when i said something really bad to him... it was insensitive and looking back i regret it more than anything. from that point on, i've sworn myself to improve nez and myself. he's not a bad person, not at all, he's just... incredibly hurt. his actions make more sense when you know what he's been through. learning he's cared about has been a tough challenge for him but he's definitely made some improvements. haha.. plus, he's just a kid. he's learning things day by day, assisting in that is a huge joy to me. on the bad side though... my manager gave me a lot of issues, specifically insecurity and trust issues. he was incredibly manipulative and abusive, not to mention he robbed my already money-struggling family all the time. he wouldn't allow me to eat before shows because he though it'd make me 'tired and lethargic' ... safe to say i passed out on stage once or twice, which of course went trending because people are maniacs. my well being was put into question in the public eye a ton, i hated it. i hated it so so much... i hated him."

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be? ; "pffft!! i'd get rid of nez's bad behavior!! ah- no but seriously, i'd get rid of the concept of gossip at all. i know that's impossible but im sure my paranoia would disappear in seconds if it never happened in the first place. talking about someone behind their back, especially if they don't deserve it... man people suck sometimes."

5.) What's underrated in your opinion? ; "a non-deep answer would be free-form poetry. rhyming is so overused that when people don't rhyme, it actually sounds a little more rhythmic in my brain. rhyme schemes become overrated and boriiing... come on start making up words!! ah- a deep answer would be the ideology that eating is an easy thing to do. at least for me and my real messed up diet, i cannot eat with ease... a small thing could mess up my stomach for hours. this might just apply to me though haha.. i dunno. thinking about eating makes me kinda sick but i'm trying to get back into the swing of it!!"

Raakel The Ravenous UltraStarHunter

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?
Is this a trick question, I feel like it is, Of course, I'd choose Roe. She's literally a giant dire bear and has been with me since she was a cub. Now, as for keeping her as a pet, I don't know

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

Fire. I'm a  very flammable plant creature who lives in a very flammable grove full of very flammable materials with a very flammable wife. Do I need to explain anymore?

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

Now, if I said anyone but my wife, I would be killed on the spot, either by Roe or Terrance, she's the reason we have the jade grove in the first place, if she wasn't here none of us dryads would be able to make this comfortable and nice grove. While I protect against more physical things, she's the heart of our grove.

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?
honesty, I'd get rid of necromancers, they only upset the balance of nature and every year people from the same cult keep trying to take our grove. but as long as me, Roe, Doug, and Terrance are here they aren't taking anything.

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

Honestly, the most underrated thing in the world is my wife, she's an archdruid yet she undersells herself so much in order to uplift others.

 Snow_Burst ShadowOath

Please ping me when there are new questions I am gonna keep developing Snow this way too thank you for this

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

Hmm... This is a guess but Jellyfish? I say this becuase they look incredibly delicate but can kill a man within minutes of being handled. I don't think I would keep one as a pet as I don't have much time to dedicate to an animal in a tank with all the maintenance and feeding it.

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

Least favorite element? Are you referring to materials? weather?

Since I am not sure I a will answer both. To be honest I couldn't care less about natural elements. I don't spend a lot of time with them. I do start working in research and development later on in my story and therefore may have an opinion on some later but right now I don't have an opinion.

As for the weather I hate it when it's too hot out. During the months of Palud err summer I feel the most miserable. Due to the occupation I currently work in I wear a uniform that is very reminiscent of military garbs and therefore they are usually pretty heavy and hot to wear in general.

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

Honestly, no one. But to answer the question: The most impactful person in my life would have to have been the F.I.R.E. agents that came and killed my parents when I was younger. This made me start fighting for myself and not allowing others to continue abusing me. I joined F.I.R.E. as a when to make myself stronger against humans and meraki alike. I had to lie about my "condition" otherwise they would have me killed on the spot. Later on in life I would say another Meraki I met during my time in F.I.R.E. Shock_Float as he saved me from myself

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

Hmm... I guess I would answer money at this point. People should return to a life of trade instead of the greedy worthless beings they've become because of money and the fight to get more money.... That's probably it right now.

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

Not to get sentimental or anything but later on in my life I am really happy for adult adoption. I think it's underrated because many people think once you are an adult you don't feel like you need parents because but I think having adopted parents as an adult has definitely changed my life. It's definitely something more people should be talking about. *sighs* I am glad to be done with this (Hahaha for now Snow for now)

Terrence Andrew_Artz

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

“Hm. I’ve never thought of that. I guess I’d say an alligator. Sharp, dangerous, and chill. I’d be down to have one as a pet but David would get all worked up about it no doubt.” -here, Terrence huffs and rolls his eyes-

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

“Water! The opposite of fire, and fire is the best element ever! Water is cold and wet and it ruins everything. I guess surfing on it is okay but otherwise? Keep it away from me. Ugh.”

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

“I would say my boyfriend Carlos, but actually David, one of my friends, has brought me a long ways. I used to be much worse in many ways and he helped me get my life back on track.”

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

”Laws. Pfft, who needs em?” -Terrence tosses his hands in the air in exasperation-

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

”Arson.” -cue prolonged silence-

Sapphire Apokalypsa

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet?

“I’ve always had an appreciation for swordfish, what with their unique appearance and behavior. I wouldn’t keep one as a pet, though. With the way I live, I couldn’t keep a pet anyway. Besides, swordfish are wild animals, it would be a pain to try to keep track of one. I’m also around beastmen a lot and they find pets to be pretty taboo, and they already have little trust for elementals like me.”

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite.

Fire. That wretched element hardly serves a purpose. It’s highly destructive and hard to control. Take one look at a fire elemental territory and you’ll see the damage it can do. The only reason one would use fire would be to warm themself up, but who needs fire when you can warm yourself by other means? It’s useless and does more harm than good.”

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why?

“This was the question I was dreading, brings back a lot of bad memories. But since I answered the others, I’ll answer this one. A fire elemental named Vulcan probably impacted my life the most. Vulcan is the reason I can’t be around fire anymore, he’s the reason I don’t have a home, and he’s the reason that I…lost my best friend. But he’s gone now, I made sure of that.”

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be?

“I remain neutral on most things, so there isn’t anything I would get rid of given the chance. Maybe all of the ‘bad’ things in the world, but that’s just too vague.”

5.) What's underrated in your opinion?

“I feel like being on your own for the most part is underrated. I always see people —elementals and beastmen alike— in groups, be it friends or team members of some sort. You can get a lot done on your own, I’d say most things can be done alone. People are so afraid of being outcasted, and I’ve never understood that. But it might just be me.”

Mac Wingspan

I imagine he's talking to a stranger or possible buyer so he's saying all this in his fake accent.

1.) What's your favorite animal, and would you keep it as a pet? "I've always been fond of sheep and goats, and I know Delilah especially has wanted somethin' like that. But I still like things the way they are; maybe when I start turnin' gray will I think about shovin' a bunch of money into land and turnin' this old place into a farm."

2.) Pick a least favorite element, now convince the rest of us it should be our least favorite. "Least favorite element?" Mac furrowed his brow and looked away for a moment as he muttered to himself. "What's an element again...?" You could catch. Eventually a confident air went over him like the sun reappearing from behind clouds, "Well, I tell you what; all that gunk and grime from the city is no good for you. It's best out here!"

3.) Who's the most impactful person in your life (good or bad), and why? "Well... I think I just have to say Delilah. Of course, she's my wife, but it is true! I was a much different man when I first came here, if you'll believe it. Now ten or so years later and I don't regret a thing I've done since then- well, not much, anyway. She taught me not to worry, about love, other things..." He paused, only smiling, "And she's always there to keep me on the right track. I've found the best way to live from her and I don't know where I'd be now if we'd never met. Perhaps everyone would do good with someone like her in their lives."

"Oh, and I suppose there's also one other person. I used to know him back in the city, but we haven't really spoken since then. I wonder where he is now..." For a moment he had a strangely regretful look on his face, but he eventually shook himself. "Anyway, where were we?"

4.) If you could instantly get rid of anything, what would it be? "Laws." He said immediately before breaking into a laugh, "I'm only joking! No- If I had to get rid of anything, it'd be anger. We're all here to have fun, aren't we? No need to get riled up so much." As he finished he pulled out a toothpick and moved it between his fangs. Somehow those two things seemed related...

5.) What's underrated in your opinion? "Y'know, I think a lot of people forget the little things. Waitin' for your big moment is a borin' way to live if you ask me, Those carefree ones are the heart of a simple life, and they're never better with someone you love."

Desmond Lockhart XxmisamurderxX

1. (Favorite animal/would you keep it as a pet?) "Gotta be dogs for me, love those little fuckers. They're always happy to see you and full of so much energy, and did I mention that they're cute. as. HELL? My fave's gotta be Doberman Pinschers though, and yes, I would keep one as a pet, I've got one now."

2. (Least favorite element) "Like.. fire, water, air, that sorta shit? The worst's water, obviously. It's way more uncool than the rest, there's WAY too much of it for me to be comfortable with, and it can also kill you. Yes, fire can also kill you, but I'm pretty sure more people drown every year than die in fire-related accidents. It doesn't help that the fuckin' ocean has a mind of it's own; that's a whole lotta NOPE for me. NOPE!"

3. (Most impactful person in your life) "...probably my first girlfriend. My mom wasn't great, so meeting her, like, totally made my world light up back then, as cliche as that sounds. Made me at least want to stay alive, I guess..."

4. (If you could instantly get rid of something) "...probably those animal kill shelters. Yeah, I know they're trying to help prevent overpopulation or whatever, but... hurting those little guys is just cruel and they don't deserve it, wish I could adopt all of 'em..."

5. (What's underrated) "Two words. Pineapple. Fuckin' PIZZA. I guess that's three but like, dude, the combination of pizza with the chunks of sweet pineapple on top is so fucking good. Also, skittles. And candy, to be honest. Everyone tryin' to pretend skittles aren't the bomb dot com are a bunch of boring normies who need some fun in their life for once."
