Obvious generic names. for example, you have a cat in space and name it spacecat etc.
As a german, I also don´t use/like basic german names. And I also don´t use super long and complicated names.

When it comes to naming OCs, there are some names no matter how appropriate meaning-wise or how much I like them... I never use because it reminds me too much of another person.

But seriously, if it's too normal sounding, I typically don't like it for my characters
They don't live in that kind of world, tho there are a few characters I have that are 'normal' named, I just like to change the spelling a bit or something
Honestly I just try to avoid making up names wholesale...I used to do that a lot (or even worse, weeby faux-Japanese names, doubly so if the character was not Japanese in the slightest, makes me wanna cringe back into my own body) and slowly became more embarrassed of that as I grew older, lmao. All those OCs are renamed now. I have a few made up names for characters still but for the most part I try to pull from words with existing meaning to do so, so the name itself still has meaning other than "I just wanted something unique." Especially for fantasy stories where I'm making up the entire culture. Making up names is a requirement for that, but I try to research beforehand to at least make it feel more concrete and plausible.
I personally don't use "Generic Cute" or cutesy names (I.e. Sweetie, Fluffy, Fuzzy), though I used to do that as a kid back then. And even tho I have a lot of OCs that look cute, I don't use cutesy names for them either. Idk it's primarily personal preference haha.
family/friends' names, ordinary names (like jake or amy), my/any friend's deadname (especially because they're always so weird and boring. also falls under ordinary names), duplicate names, names of famous furries. (would not go naming my characters majira or pocari or stormi)
