Specifically with how obvious they were, I was thinking about how if they had children with other species these children could have manticore blood but not stand out so much and fit in better with society?

I actually really love that idea! Like, Alistair is currently more of a lion-anthro creature, but that's just how his species evolved over time. Long ago, manticores were still experimenting with magic, so many of them had more human traits in a failed attempt to blend in. I think there's a lot of potential for a story about one of these more human-like manticores who maybe meets a human. :3

Minty-Fivestar See now I'm wondering at this point how much the manticore would look human, would they completely fit in and just have conflicted about their ancestry and history, or would they still stick out. Also how much would people know what the manticores are. Haha I'm starting to think about this a bunch too now!

Earl You can have winged characters that aren't angels though! I think my favorite unnatural cause is stuff like scientific experimentation but also magic in general is great. And Rojas looks wonderful! I love his colors and lil finger markings. Is he forced to stay in the cave?
