Haze was my first adopted character because I didn't really have an interest in adopting characters till I saw him. He was up for offers and loads of people entered to get him so I was doubtful I'd get a chance to own him but offered up some art anyway, just in case. And I actually ended up winning him!!!
Because I didnt make him I've kinda ended up spoiling him with art hahah! He was my only adopted character for the longest time! But now I have 2!
Castle for sure. He was only a fursuit when I got him though. No art or character yet. I just saw the fursuit at a convention and was instantly in love and wanted it so bad. Found it for sale on Twitter and won the auction for it. So happy to have him and be able to do all of my plans with him.

I still can't believe I got him omg ;u; I saw him around months ago when he was up for trade, but I ended up becoming ill and unable to do any art so I couldn't finish my trade for him. I was bummed of course but I had way too much to worry about, and I figured he'd get a good home elsewhere. But just recently I saw someone had put him up for free and they were kind enough to let me have him ;A; I cannot...I'm just...so freakin' happy I could cry ahhh
Raziel could be considered as a ~dream chara~, I guess? Like, I'm not really into the adopt community and stuff so I'm never like "I love this design I need it and I'd do anything to get it", but when his previous owner uploaded him on their TH, I really liked his design haha... But it was more like "ooh this is neat I wonder what they'll do with them", lmao. But said design/character never got any updates afterwards so I ended up forgetting about it lel.
Eventually they decided to put them in a design purge so I nyoomed on the opportunity, offering some art in exchange. I was super glad to see the previous owner accepted my offer, so I drew everything in one (1) day and here we are! I love his original creator's designs in general so it's cool I finally managed to get one, especially since I can't put any kind of money into adopts lmao
I guess you could consider Faroe a dream character! He was the design that alerted me to his species, but I never saw one I loved as much as him. I stalked his design for a long while- and finally got my hands on him! Love this design so much!
Alamea was and will always be my dreamy!
I originally saw her put up for auction years ago, and saw her sell X,D
she's actually had 3 other owners before turning up again in a resell journal.
She now has a forever home with me <3
Jackie was the second adopt I ever bought! I wanted him because I knew exactly what I wanted to do with him. His name was "Mochi" when his first owner acquired him.
He was up for resale for 300 points and I wasn't able to snag him in time. Not even knowing if it was rude or not, I messaged the owner asking them to please inform me if they were to ever resell. A week later I tracked down the original artist and asked them to make me a custom. Ironically, Jackie's owner contacted me right after that. The funny part of the story is that both he and the custom were delivered to me on the same day, November 25!
Jackie is still my favourite character to this day!
Besides him, I've only ever really daydreamed about 4 other characters, one of which is in a forever home, one was taken by an anonymous buyer, and the other two are happy with me:
I'd guess Shiloh would be a 'dream' character of mine even though he was a custom!
I'd had his idea in mind for a long time and never found anyone to take it on.
I eventually found an awesome artist who created him for me perfectly and I love how he turned out!
