Show me your ocs with unusual names! Things like numbers, abbreviations, nouns, etc. Just things that aren't usually used as names! I love these types of characters.

Super obscure/odd sounding but real names may qualify too.

Puppy aimlessPlayer

I think Puppy and Cousin are my best examples! Maybe C too.

isopods

This character's name is A0021.  It's not his real name, though, but his real name hasn't been used in over a decade.

Nanashi aska-ray

'nanashi' is not a name, it means 'nameless', but since it's what he says when people ask what his name is.... some people get confused/get fed up with him and call him that

unused-account

OH BOY DO I HAVE A LOT

First there's Abalone (pronounced Ab-a-lone-ee), who's named after the shell.

Then we have Absinthe, which is just a weird name tbh. She usually shortens it to Abby.

Wendi is short for Wendigo. As in, the cannibalistic native american spirits.

Giga is named after the song that inspired her, Giga Cartoon Witch.

 .txt Mochagatari

Quite a few of my characters have bizarre names, but .txt takes the cake. It's pronounced "dot text", as in "text file".

 one physics

one doesn't have a name, so her friends just call her by the indefinite pronoun 'one'! she sometimes gets more specific stuff like "hey you asshole in the cowboy boots". she has a name she picked for disgusing herself as a human but its just sigourney (after Alien star sigourney weaver haha) Goodman (after. good man)

Waltz

A lot of my characters have pretty wacky names due to being in fantasy settings and me just pulling random names out of my head, but my android girl, AKINO-75, is obviously a little strangely named.

I also have a number of characters who simply have words for names, such as Chalice, Crystalline, Egret, Stone, and Wildfire.

And of course "Nameless" here has no name at all, as they don't remember it and no one else has known them, so they are nicknamed "Watcher."

m.kinde catterfly

m.kinde (em kihn-deh) probably counts. They're not sure if that's their original name (they were memory wiped), but this name is an adaptation of a mnemonic to make a 'real name'.

Aaaaand everybody in [this tag] has a noun for a name! (Elegance, Silt, Conifer, Bezel, Latte, Alder, Pumice, Solstice, and Vellum)

SystemRaboot

my sweet son charred here seems like he fit in well here and as you can see he has that name for a bit of an obvious reason

i also got Xanax and Kuron buuut i think Charred here wins the weirder name battle (even tho kuro means black and kuron is mostly white shhhh)

Necronomeow

Z,Axerian Envery, and Altavine Vayle

Just to name a few

Seiden

I'm not really sure what counts as a weird name ?
Alastyn is not really a human name but I wouldn't consider it weird as it sounds okay.
Cherinee isn't a name neither, I just put some random letters together because he actually was supposed to be a temporary background character in some roleplay....
As for Diey, I had no idea how to name it, then I just took the file name. You know, when you download files from the internet, it oftens looks like etsj6554g.jpg. Here, the reference name was saved at something like "diey687xt.jpg". Hence why he's nameed Diey.
I won't cite them all, though, most of my characters don't have human names.
I may just cite Méristème, whose name is actually a botany therm, nothing that should be someone's name. It's kinda like naming your kid "mitochondria" :')
N.A.-3741 17523 sure doesn't have a pretty name neither, but, depending of the A.U., he's usually named "Ennay" (=N.A.) or Adam.

Yeah, actually, my characters have normal names. Not sure why I'm posting here xD
