2 years ago I knew that at one point or another, I would make the mother to my Yan'er, and I've finally getting started. Knew in advance that there would be quite a few traits that I would not like, since the main element is that she leaves her daughter behind. So what I don't like even though I wrote it. Is that she is to smart but lack the emotional aspect, she makes decisions without much emotion even though they should be very emotional. She may not show it, but she has that "Nothing touches me" personality. Like be sad woman, don’t just take 2min and get over your own childs existence like it’s just like looking at a passing cloud. Agian I wrote that, trying to write her personality down and get pissed at the same time. xD

it can be both in narrative (like their flaws, their immoral history, etc) and meta (if their writing needs more development, if you secretly feel embarrassed for owning them, etc)

i checked Mizutos profile, i really do like their overall character concept, and their design is simple but cute. hope youre doing good with whatever youre dealing with buddy. using characters and fiction is always a great and safe way to explore things about yourself
He does have the capacity to care, and what's tragic is that his story ends just as he starts to improve.
bro what the hell i did NOT expect that ending 😔😔 ive only barely know what Yvs character is like for a few secs and your little blurb already pulled some strings in my heart - thats some great writing skills. i can understand why youd sympathise him, especially with that ending!

so generally i feel like anastasia’s personality and story is all kinda just. boring and plain. like, she definitely has some notable traits that makes her Her but she doesnt have any remarkable quirks or hobbies. shes kindaaaaa me in the sense that we’re both simple people, we like travelling, we’re open minded and can hold fairly intriguing discussions, but other than that shes not really special. idk i feel pressured to make her interesting but its hard since i don’t want to make her a bubbly extrovert but i also don’t wanna make her an isolated nerdy introvert!!
as for the story, my girl has got Definite mommy issues and i feel like the story in general is fairly interesting, it adds substance to her character, but at the same time i feel like the aftermath of her childhood isn’t shown enough in her character? like she’s kinda just moved on from all that and i feel it would be more interesting for her to hold onto her childhood and her “hate” for her mother, but i also feel like that is out of line for her character and she is generally a person who moves on and closes the chapter.
so yeah!!! that was my little rant haha but in general i really do want to develop her further and work it out with somebody how to improve her #lolz
H/J. S/He had a lot of elements about hir that strained willing suspension of disbelief making me lowkey embarrrassed to share hir in threads about historical OC's...but that's not my issue because all those elements were part of hir running themes and made hir fun to play. Instead I feel a bit bad about hir page being so long and clunky. And it is long and clunky because I wrote it while I was heavily obsessed with that character so everything that happened to hir seemed worthy of being jutted down. And as we know a roleplay tends to feel a bit ridiculous to people who were not a part of it. I don't have the heart to fix it up either, because the character died eventually and I sort of see the page as a memorial for hir. That said it does feel a little embarrassing to think back on just how much I found excuses to share hir around about 3-5 years ago on this site.
I've also got a couple other characters, namely Parable, who's coding is completely broken and since I don't know html myself I can't figure out how to fix it. So of course I don't like how her page looks. XD
With Jadwiga Gruszecka I'm currently not fond of her personality and worldviews. She doesn't seem to have much going on besides things like "hates undead" "is religious" and "is nice". It's something I'm trying to fix with a couple rewrites/additions to her lifestory making her more politically active, since she lived in a very tumultuous time period.
