Running an OC question of the day thread is rough because you always want to answer your own questions, but by the time you have the time it's been a week and you have a bunch of other questions! Not to mention that your questions always have to be pretty general: "what's your OCs' favorite colors" is easy enough for someone with 10 OCs, but there are loads of people who have OCs in the triple digits and beyond!
But y'know what's awesome? Shindan is awesome. I spent last night working on a bunch of options and whipped up a Shindan that will ask you a question to a specific OC every day!

Anna has no remorse at all when it comes to manipulating. She once used her own child as leverage in an argument with her husband! (Of course, this "leverage" was threatening to murder the child...)
She believes she's always in the right, so "good cause" is kind of a blurred line for her.

Q: What are their favorite kinds of names?
Probably like?? the really dumb kinds of names that parents give their kids when they want them to stand out, like ~Tequila~ or ~Cyder~ fnmsklfnld I feel like she definitely hates her own name. Well, he doesn't really look that much like me, but then again, all my OCs look nothing like me, so... I picked Gabriel for the hair at least.
Q: How do they respond to being complimented and/or praised from strangers? From friends? From partners?
From strangers: He usually doesn't say anything, but might sometimes thank them. Either way, he doesn't really care too much about it. If he finds the compliment either insincere or unusual, he might regard the compliment with skepticism.
From friends: He'll usually thank them, or if he's in a good mood, he might make a mischievous remark.
From partners: Thank them, and then either say something particularly naughty or tease them.
Hey there, commander! This question is for your OC who loves ties the most. Q: How do they feel at parties? How do they act?
Was stuck between three who all equally love ties...but I think Nikolai here wins out.
Nikolai is 100% a people person and is very comfortable at parties. He loves finding out about the lives of others (nosy!!!) and kinda just goes around and chats people up until he's run out of people.
He is also a bit of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, so the man ends up more than buzzed off of one martini. He's a pretty smooth drunk, but he certainly has no qualms about making a fool of himself, either.

"I want to believe that I'm fair when it comes to treating my subordinates. The majority of them are my friends / fellow colleagues before I got promoted hence I know their personality, their attitude and their problematic habits rather thoroughly. If they're punished, they usually know very well they have it coming for their behavior (fighting, breaking some rules that dampen reputation of our fleet, being reckless and endanger their fellow fleet mates). The only exception is when they make fun of my uniform...which well, they have been constantly doing so in the past ever since I arrived in Vladivostok and still sporadically continue today, even after I have become their boss...
...still, all I did when some of them burst out a marriage joke at me is yelling at them and charging up my weapon only as warning. I rarely use my weapons on subordinates without a really good reason, like breaking fights. They won't get away as easily for making fun of flagship in other fleets, I'm certain. I know Slava would just keep his smiling face intact and then blast P-500 at them without any warning.
The down side of trying to be a fair boss and treating everyone equally is...the fact it means you have to cut tie with your close friend to some degree. I honestly can not sense what Bystryy feels regarding this issue. We struck up our friendship as soon as we left Sevastopol for the fleet transferring journey and he is my first friend in this fleet. Now he can't regularly drop some mundane topic on me to start a chat like we used to. Hmmmm...if I think about it more clearly, maybe he's coping by being the one who drops the marriage jokes on me more often than others?
As for the newer guys who joined the fleet after my promotion, Nevskiy still treats me with more respect than others would think, taking his troublesome habit of challenging me to beat his butts whenever he fights with one of the older submarines. Ryazan seems surprised to find out that I'm less harsh than he initially had heard. Meanwhile Volodya basically tries to avoid catching my attention as if I'd kill him as soon as he makes an eye contact with me. However, hearing from Garya it looks like Volodya is yet to adjust to our fleet and is aloof toward other subs in Vilyuchinsk base, too."

Granted, some ocs would have worse table manners cuz they've never been at a table nor have interest in it, but Alice is a member of society and he would not only double dip, but dip one fry in every sauce available and mix them all up, so he's the worst

Well obviously hurting those he loves, but also being a liar >:(. If you think bad of him consistently for a long time (ie a classmate who thinks he's really weird) you'll probably be his enemy as well, but that's not the worst tier of enemies at least! In fact, that's his default for strangers, though he doesn't even rationalize it

. .).... "Make an enemy of...me? I...um, I try to not taking offense easily so normally it takes a lot to make me feel like I want to avoid someone. If I need to name the habits which are likely to cause me to become uncomfortable with someone, ummmmm......
Invading my personal space repeatedly and trying to force their politics view on me (especially if it's concerned communism/Bolchevik) would earn them some space from me. I'd acknowledge that there's some difference on us that is probably best for us to spend less time together but it still doesn't warrant a hostile reaction.
However, if someone wishes to harm people who are close to me, then...to my regret, I'll have to neutralize them before they will have a chance to act on that. Therefore, please refrain from doing so. I can live with settling our differences aside in most subjects but ill intentions toward my family is never acceptable."

My name is Sveyatoy Georgiy Pobedonosets and as my creator confirmed, it's probably the most complicated to pronounce due to excessive number of letters involved. (and please don't make me start on how only one of the three 'O' in my Pobedonosets part is actually pronounced as an 'o' while another two pronounce as a short 'a' sound)
Ahem, as for the answer to the question...scissors would be my pick. The reason is related to my habit as a person who prefers things practical and I believe out of these choices, scissor seems to be more useful than others?
