Ah heck things changed since my last post so I'll just add on here, most of what was in my post on page one is true still so yee~
Claire sings and plays keyboards, yeah she's basically Fancy in a different world and situations, but that stayed the same. Doesn't have a band, but a solo project, STAR★DUST.
Vincent Vangoat has since become a ghost as that worked better for him, so instead of a karaoke bar guy, he can change his voice to match a wide range, and well, still not really out there for the biggest crowds, but you can see him providing guest vocals with La Vie en Rose, especially if they randomly decide to cover Ai Wo Torimodose, which doesn't happen often, but a few times, yeah.
I'm a sucker for anything related to music, so are any of your characters in a band? Do they like to sing (whether they're any good or not)? Can they play an instrument? Lay 'em on me. :)
I'll start off-- most of my characters are musicians, because they're from a story about a battle of the bands contest, but this guy is Izzy, the lead singer/lead guitar in a punk band in the contest. He's more loud and enthusiastic than he is good, but that's all you need to be punk, right?
Spike can play a recorder! He found one in someone's attic shortly after he became a ghost, and decided to steal it. He mastered it in a month. He's not sure how. (Either he's an extremely fast learner naturally, or it has something to do with his ghost magic.)
He likes to play while sitting in rooms in peoples' houses, falling silent when they enter the room, so nobody ever knows where the sound is coming from.
M'boy Jame is based on my favorite singer/song writer, James Euringer!! Lmao he recently came out with a new album and I'm ;o;
Vivaldi is a bard, so they've got a lot of musical experience. Their preferred instrument is a mandolin.

- Slice is the lead singer/frontman of a goth-punk band called Strangeh8. He's a talented vocalist, pianist, and songwriter—his talent is the only thing that makes up for his vastly flawed personality.
- Dree is the lead guitarist and back-up singer for Strangeh8. She is moderately talented and has a surprisingly pleasant voice.
- Lima is the bassist for Strangeh8. She is also a skilled violist and arranger. She is learned in music theory and nearly got into college on a performance scholarship (which she had to decline for health reasons). She also dabbles in various other string instruments, and performs part-time with other artists to earn a living.
- Ballister is the drummer for Strangeh8. He has chops, but cares more about the music than the actual music scene.
- L.P. is Slice's bf and a DJ/electronic music producer, who goes between merely spinning tracks at events, remixing other people's music, and occasionally actually producing tracks of his own.
- Ove is a chef blessed with golden pipes, but is too shy to ever give a performance beyond being overheard in the kitchen of the diner he works at.
- Weiss is Lima's ex and a back-up singer and guitarist for The Promised Afterlife, an industrial rock group. They have skill but very little presence.
- Tesani is the lead singer and guitarist for a crappy high school band she put together with two friends, called Seals on Wheels. Lulu is the drummer and Kalliki is the keyboardist. They are Genuinely Bad.
- Rach is a(n in)famous contemporary classical pianist, known for his avantgarde compositions and playing style, as well as his scandalous personality.
- Sarh and Rai are idol singer/popstars, working with the same producers.
All of the above characters are from a contemporary AU setting I've been working with for the past couple years, but some notable mentions outside of that storyverse are:
- Chalice, who has a sweet and lonesome voice, usually found humming to theirself in the church ruins they live alone in.
- Charleston, who plays guitar and considers himself responsible for morale the people of the post-apocalyptic city he resides in.
- Etefu, a traveling bard who plays the guitar and sings, always drawing a crowd in the village centers that he stops in.
- Dagim, a temple attendant who plays the lyre, and whom Dagim becomes smitten with. (The two would be lovely if they ever did a duet!)
- Cente is a conductor of magical song, with his voice as his power.
- Eijas plays the flute, among other various talents.
- Rhine sings, praised by her father and friends, those in her village often coming to listen.

Vincent is a guitarist! Though in Eden I don't have any bands, they sometimes all work together like one, but for reasons they aren't officially one :p
