I'm a sucker for anything related to music, so are any of your characters in a band? Do they like to sing (whether they're any good or not)? Can they play an instrument? Lay 'em on me. :)
I'll start off-- most of my characters are musicians, because they're from a story about a battle of the bands contest, but this guy is Izzy, the lead singer/lead guitar in a punk band in the contest. He's more loud and enthusiastic than he is good, but that's all you need to be punk, right?
Alec knows how to play the drums. He mostly plays in band class at school since he can't afford to buy any equipment for himself, but he frequently practices with Volkmar (who I posted a while ago) and his band since they let him use their equipment when he is over at their house. He sometimes helps Volkmar work through making new songs if Fathom isn't available to do the drum parts. He's pretty good at it, but it's not something he pursues with passion and is more of a casual hobby and stress-reliever of sorts.
It isn't heavily mention but this character loves music; especial the rock genre, one of his favorite bands is The Animals; but I have an alternate/clone of him that grew up differently that super adores Panic At The Disco. Saisho can also play the Shamisen, however, as a child he had really wanted to learn the guitar. Unfortunately as an adult his passion for music were subdued for business type ventures; following what was wanted and expected of him. Though he also likes writing Haiku.
Summer is actually extremely good at playing the piano. But no one really knows that except her brother Mason.
