Vaughn, for sure and without a doubt.
It took me forever to find a good set of flaws for this guy that didn't make him too dislikeable or too perfect. He's slightly similar to me in the way he perceives things, or more than the rest of my OCs in his world anyway, that it makes it hard to keep his voice his voice, and not let too much of my own thoughts into the story. That's never, ever been a problem for me before... I'll be writing a reaction and then I'll realize 'No, wait, that's how I'd react to it, not Vaughn. Vaughn would be very upset."
Probably because I mostly write for angsty villain characters who are way cooler and smarter than me so it's hard to get the two confused.
Plus I'm trying to write a book with him being the main character so that's a can of worms for me to write.
AND the guy is such a doofus it's hard not to make fun of him in story 24/7. But I can't. Because it's an action book. And he never views himself as a doofus either. So that rules that out.
He has so much body language that I need to keep a list of what he does when feeling a certain emotion because he's very expressive.
He also has three moles on his face that are so difficult to remember when drawing that I know I'll just outright forget one day.
