He's one of the dorkiest, sweetest, yet well kept and to himself ocs I have!
He's German-Lamian (Lamia is the continent he lives on :0), 19 years old, and studies Dragons! More specifically, Dragon birth, Hatchlings/babies, and Mothers!
He's part demigod from his mom's side but he has no idea he is so it's so small of a fact it shouldn't even be mentioned.

she got raised in a period where women didnt belong into laboratories, but she was like "f that." 

in the end it cost her her life. she got infected with tubercolosis while researching on it and died.

Carmine here really fits the mad scientist trope, what with having a curiosity of the unknown and a lack of guilt over experimenting on, ahem, live specimens. They're kinda "off" too so people don't tend to feel comfortable, as they're really manic and cheery, even when things aren't going well. In my urban fantasy verse, they're a scientist at a facility in Area 51 who researches the "Noxchildren" or the various mythical creatures that the government hides the existence of. Ironic though, as they themselves are one.

Ashelin is a biologist who engages in extreme magical husbandry/animal geneticist work. 

This boy is a boy genius. He like works with interdimensional science.

This guy specializes in chemistry and engineering, but he's really good at applying that to biology, and if he can convince a mystical being to assist, alchemy. The alternate face shapes and noses off to the side are all "canon" and his face periodically shifts between them due to. Sci-fi contrivances. Possibly a side effect of his own doing. Almost NOTHING is intentional. While I don't think he would experiment on unwilling subjects, he has dubious moral standards as even if his projects were to go perfectly as planned, they would have terrible complications everyone told him about but which he assumes won't happen, cos it just seems too cool and important to have consequences!

he's pretty intense / standoffish but he really does mean well 

i've got datura! he's a toxicologist and a little bit of a freak, which is always the worst kind of combination to have

there's also kia, though nowadays he's more of a scholar than someone actively involved in the scientific field 

Valin works in the fields of Alchemy, Magic potions. So he likes to create the stuff, then works as a traveling salesman in order to profit from his magical research. 

Here’s my horrible mad scientist! He likes to stitch up dead bodies and revive them Frankenstein style. He’s also made a few machines that he uses to trap ghosts and experiment on various supernatural creatures. He considers himself a cryptobiologist because he focuses on cryptids and other supernatural creatures when he isn’t doing necromancy.

He also has a sci-fi AU tab! In that AU he still fiddles with cadavers but he uses cybernetics to revive them now. He also does illegal doctor things like surgery and distributing medicine without a proper license, and also does maintenance for a few regular patients’ cybernetic implants as needed. All for a price, of course.

He's not practicing, but canonically majored in neurosciences in college.

My scholar turned rogue scientist. He secretly studied the crystals that can give people magic when embedded into themselves. For the sake of his research he planted one within his own heart.

My Demon before wanted to be a doctor, but because of some problematic things in his body, he ended up becoming a mad scientist / maniac / psychopath. Poisoning and experimenting on others for pure entertainment and personal goals to which he does not speak.

It often ends up being a little controversial, involving living beings like humans, animals and more supernatural things, with somewhat realistic cases. It may seem hideous and scary, but he has other intentions for good causes.
