I typically base mine if I plan to sell them on how much I've spent on them. So, if I buy a character for $50 and have spent $100 on extra art, then it's total worth would be $150. If it's a character I've made myself, then I just do whatever I think is fair based on how much art and the time spent on said art (presuming it's all drawn by me and has no extras)
I’m not interested in trading/selling any of my babies, but I’m curious about their worth. How do you figure it? Is it all of their art put together based on how much it cost?
sometimes its a gut feeling, like, sometimes i ask myself, if someone came up to me and offered 50$ for (OC) would i take it? and it ussually goes up with price like that. for example i would probably take 500$ for israel, even tho its not a lot of high quantity/quality art and not a complex design, thats the price in my head that realistically i would say yes to a sale. others such as lauren i would feel realistically comfortable at like 1$ lol
