Show me your 'Mortal Enemies' / Rivals

Posted 5 years, 2 months ago by Malka aaawhyme

I didn't see an enemy thread, so I made one :> Hopefully i'm not stepping on anyone's toes, I don't want any enemies!

Show me your mortal enemies / foes / nemesis / rivals ? ... Frenemies works too!

Two or more characters that absolutely loath each other, or in constant battle with one another in some way.

Why do they hate each other so much?

---

For me- my characters: Malka and Sigma are mortal enemies.

Malka (who arrogantly believes he's innocent of any crime) causes the demise of Sigma's dear sister! In rage, Sigma imprisons Malka, making his life a living hell in jail. Malka isn't confined forever and once escaped, seeks revenge on Sigma for all his torment to him.  The two are constantly at each other's throats, often quite literally! Malka's methods of revenge are far more subtle and mental, while Sigma wants to make Malka pay with his life, quite physically at this point!

Do any of your characters have an 'enemy'?

Char and Reighan understand each other very deeply but there is rivalry and hatred there as well

KONG-REY SODAPUNKED

Let me tell you, in the story, he has beef with not one, but two people, one of which who is highly involved with politics.

Galveston: he dislikes Galveston for two reasons [there's only one main reason]

1. Because he's annoying in his eyes, in his words: he even looks annoying, even that smile he has can make him look like a punchable man

2. The main reason being is that he said that kongphobia isn't real [which is very true] making him the number one public enemy, and on top of the blacklist.

Mangkhut: because he lost to Mangkhut, he now hates him more than Galveston. In his eyes, Mangkhut is trying to make himself look better than him, which wasn't his intention.

Jakob Rosesverd rapossita

gasp this is the perfect thread for me

Jakob here has a one sided...odd dynamic with my friend's oc Apollyon. The two of them grew up together and Jakob and Apollyon were each others' only friends. That is, until a third came into the picture: Aus'zin. Aus and Jakob became incredibly close and Apollyon, who had been harboring some unrequited feelings for Jakob began to feel left behind. Plot stuff happens and Aus'zin leaves and Jakob is confined to a sickbed with serious burns over half his face/body and Apollyon visits Jakob constantly, but all Jakob can talk about is Aus'zin (who he has been in love with from the moment they met). It eventually comes to a head where Apollyon snaps and, during a hunting trip, shoves Jakob off a cliff and to his (supposed) death. There, Apollyon gets the idea that he now owns Jakob, as he gets to own the final memory of the two of them together. Apollyon takes this and holds onto it, essentially feelings a sense of ownership over Jakob. Apollyon wants to destroy everything about jakob, his memories, his legacy, etc, and rebuild it all in the way that Apollyon likes. When Jakob inevitably comes back, the two are essentially enemies, the love between them so perverted and rotted that it's just turned into Apollyon's obsession to keep owning more and more of Jakob.
