Will there be a Discord server for Charmies?
We do not plan on making a Discord server for the species.

Why do you use a moderator account?
It allows us to remain unbiased, discuss moderation issues as a group, and maintain mod records!

What is the status of the species?
Charmies are completely open and free to make!

How do I get started making a Charmie?
Visit the About the Species page to see species traits, and the Rules & Guidelines page for important info.

Can I make Charmie adoptables or custom designs?
No, sorry! Only moderators and guest artists are allowed to make Charmie adoptables and take customs.

Can I make Charmie raffle/giveaway designs?
No, sorry! Only the mods and any guest artists may make Charmie raffles/giveaways without prior approval.

Can I make a Charmie design for a friend as a gift or trade?
Absolutely!

Do I have to join the Toyhouse world or DeviantArt group to own a Charmie?
No, you don't! However the groups provide a community with fun events and sales posts.

Can I make a Charmie of an open or closed species?
No! Regardless of the open/closed status of another species, this isn't allowed.

Can I make a Charmie as an alternate version to an already existing character?
Yes!

Can I make alternate palettes, items or charms for my Charmie?
Yes!

Can I change an existing character into a Charmie?
Yes!

⭐️DESIGN⭐️

Are there any limits to what deco can be?
No, as long as it doesn't go against our guidelines!

What qualifies as a cheek spot?
A mostly solid marking that covers a large portion, or most if not all of the Charmie's cheeks! It can be any shape (circle, square, star, etc) as long as it's easily identifiable and not largely obscured by other markings.

What qualifies as a Charm?
An obvious item, accessory, or addition to the design! Such as a resin star, gel heart, golden bell, stitched-on-diamond, etc.

Can Charms be anywhere other than the chest and tail?
Yes! They are commonly on the chest or tail, but can be anywhere as long as they are obviously defined as an item, accessory or addition.

How much of the bottom half of a Charmie has to be see-through?
Most of the bottom half! The main separation should ideally be on the abdomen and can be high up on the chest or lower on the belly.

What can Charmies be made of?
Charmies can be organic, plush, plastic, toy, pooltoy/inflatable, pinata, etc! Anything you want!

Can Charmies have different body types/shapes, bigger/smaller limbs, extra limbs, etc?
Yes yes yes! Do whatever you'd like with your Charmie's design, as long as it follows the overall guidelines they can look like pretty much anything! They can be fat, short, tall, skinny, have six arms, three tails, tiny wings, fins, huge horns --- whatever!

Can Charmies be quad? How about mermaid, or centaur?
Yes, yes, and yes! A Charmie can be any of these body shapes, and if they have a Charm they can use magic to transform between them at will.

Can Charmies wear clothes and have different hair styles?
Yeah absolutely! Both of these is totally fine.

Can Charmies have siblings or family?
Yes, sure!

⭐️SALES & GOODS⭐️

Can I sell my Charmie?
Yes! Please do so at your discretion and be fair to yourself and others by listing prices accurately to the value you put on an MYO design and the art that you have added or commissioned to the character's gallery. As long as you don't produce Charmie designs with the intent of selling them!

Can I trade or gift my Charmie?
Yes! Please note that some users may be blacklisted from participating in the groups. You may see our Rules & Guidelines for a list of groups we desire no interaction with.

Can I take commissions or YCHs specifically for Charmie?
Yes! Feel free to advertise these in the groups as well.

Can I make stickers, charms, etc of my Charmie?
As long as it's your own character, yes! Feel free to share and advertise within the groups, we'd love to see what you come up with?

Can I make a suit or plush of my Charmie?
Please do!!! We'd love to see how one would pull that off.
