Prompt Submissions

Welcome everyone to the Pillowing-Pile Prompt Pack Submissions! We host a handful of prompts at any given time, and this is the thread to earn your rewards for them.

At this point in time, only Pillowings and Lintlings may be used in these prompt packs. You can also do drawing or a story for the prompt pack, but doing both for the same prompt pack will not earn you more CC. We will also be cross-checking posts here with Deviantart Submissions, as this is meant to be an alternative option (not a way to try and double up cc per submission)

Rules and Rewards

Drawing (note: this is per-part of the Pack)

• 1 part per comment
• 6 total parts Temporarily 8 total parts allowed per-month.
  • May be from any combination of Prompt Packs.
  • Resets on the first of the month (Midnight Central Time)
• Must be Fully Colored
  • No sketches or just linework.
  • Flat colors perfectly fine.
• Must have Background
  • Must have depth unless otherwise stated. (Basically a clear setting that your character is a part of)
• Must have a link to the Pillowing-Archive entry for any used Pillowings/Lintlings.
• At least one Pillowing/Lintling with 30% of it showing. No just heads, paws, or tails.    
  • 500 cc cap per submission
  • 200 cc for 1 Character + Background
  • Additional 30 cc per character
  • Exclusive Sticker upon completion of entire Pack
    • Link to each Part in the final entry's post to be awarded the Sticker!
  • Monthly Prompt Exclusive: Completionist Raffle Entry
    • A free raffle exclusive for those that complete the Rotating prompt(s)

Writing (note: this is one large story for the month, not individual pieces)

• 1 story allowed per-month, must focus on a single Prompt Pack.
  • Resets on the first of the month
• Word minimum: 400 words
• Proper grammar, spell check, sentence structure.
  • Basically, we need to be able to properly read the story for it to count.
• Characters must be focused on, not just off-handed mentions, to be awarded CC.
• Must have a link to the Pillowing-Archive entry for any used Pillowings/Lintlings.
• Must use minimum 4 of the available parts of the Prompt Pack, and list which of those parts are used in the form
• Rewards:
  • CC rewards are tiered
    • 400 - 995 Words: 200 CC
    • 996-2,490 Words: 400CC
    • 2,491-5,000 Words: 800 CC
    • 5,001+ Words: 1000 CC
  • Exclusive Sticker upon completion
  • Monthly Prompt Exclusive: Completionist Raffle Entry
    • A free raffle exclusive for those that complete the Rotating prompt!
