Swii felt... confused about Gueton at first. He was a hard counter to whatever she'd fetishised demons to be, and she was kind of worried that she'd offended him somehow in their only encounter so far, which was concerning if you were a demonology hobbyist.
Still, he was one of the first demons she'd ever encountered in her life, and she was mature enough to accept that her preconceptions were wrong and needed to be corrected. He was also kind enough to indulge her in talking about the blog she's a part of, and she got a ton of likes from the photos she'd taken of him alongside demon hunter Alex. Plus, he didn't eat her eternal soul, so it was good enough. I guess.
Also.... he was kind of hot. Like, in an ironic sort of way. Sort of. He was svelt and cool, so, you know, if you're into that. A little stuffy, though.

Maia is... odd, and thus Spark has very mixed feelings about her.
Obviously, he worries a lot about her health and priorities, because she seems *way* too determined to get into fights and do 'evil'? but on the other hand, she's a child who who assumes was just.. raised to view that as the right thing to do? She's very brave as well, and he finds it sweet how she seeks safety with her brother, even if she'd deny it openly.
Over all, he just wants her to grow up and have a good life, and just... m-maybe give up on the evil dictator dreams?

Frankly, from the first look, it seems that Whip is rather similar to Taph in their own youth. Ok. Maybe more energetic. But just as judgemental and easily annoyed and prone to speak his mind because no-one can stop him from doing so.
Which sums up to be a pretty fucking annoying child.
