RP Ettiquette/rules
- If the RP is specifically for X amount of people, define who those people are in the FIRST post by name -Add (Closed) to the title of the forum thread if it's for certain people only. Add (Open) if you're okay with anyone joining.
- IF THE RP is, or will become NSFW, add (NSFW) to the title
- Yes, NSFW is allowed, go wild
- Yes, you may RP violence, gore, sex, noncon, or what have you.
- If you feel somethings a little too MUCH, you're free to give a warning in the first post of what the RP entails
- To the people who believe they're not comfortable with such topics, it's your choice to read or ignore.
- COMMUNICATION. IS. KEY. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. Make SURE your RP partner is comfortable with what you're going to be RPing. Do not suddenly spring violence, sex, noncon, or what have you on them without OOC! CONCENT!
- Feel free to link a picture to your StarDragon so everyone knows who they are
- Use (()), [[]], {{}}, or some sort of indication that something is OOC when what you're saying is not in character.
- No godmoding. It's rude.
- Godmoding: Writing for someones character, saying your character makes a hit in a fight without giving character the option to dodge/pary, being all mighty and powerful- unless your partner specifically tells you they're down with all of that
- No metagaming. Still rude.
- Metagaming: Making OOC knowledge IC knowledge. If a character is thinking something, YOU the RPER is privy to that knowledge, but your character is not. If YOU the RPER is aware a character is evil, but the character does not portray this, then your character is not automatically aware... unless OOC concent is given.
