Ideas? :3

Wanted to know if anyone had some suggestions for this so that we can get to develop it faster <3
First thing I was debating about the setting; should it be on a pre-existant Pokemon region, or should we create a new one? (if we pick a canon region, there would probably be lots of travelling among all the regions anyways)
Most important thing to decide though, would be how the Pokemon got to transform into gijinkas; would it be due to a newly discovered item (kind of like Mega Stones) or something else entirely? Or perhaps some form of "pollution"? Or everything is in real some sort of global experiment led by a group of people (our own villain team? xD)?
Also, I was thinking perhaps the Elite 4 should have some more power in a time of trouble like this, like some sort of government or idk xD
Lastly, the "deity" Pokemon are all split in groups, each inspired on different religion/mythology, and each with an Arceus of different type (or more than one) as leader; for example the servants of the Ice-type Arceus are based on Old Norse mythology/religion, such as valkyries and the like.

Let me know your ideas and perhaps what you think of the points above!
I'm very excited about this and can't wait to have some time to properly develop it<3

Alrighty ladies, as of lately I'm really trying to get somehow back into OCs stories and finish at least one, so I've decided to go with this first as it's a side project, and should so be shorter/faster to work on (plus, I have a weak spot for shared projects with friends <3)
This is the simple set up I've thought for the story, but it's a beginning lol
Starts from Trinity as I'm sure she's in here, let me know of other OCs to introduce! ♥

---Trinity gets a call; one of the unusually many of the period. The ranger station is in chaos, accidents happenng here and there. This one is about a fire which spread incredibly fast in a town of all places (she expected a forest fire). -town is tbd-
She gets there, and the source of the fire is a Pokemon...by itself? Unusual, most times there's also a human behind things like this, but nothing she hasn't seen or heard of before.
Trinity proceeds to tame the Pokemon, but it trasforms itself into a human. The ranger tries to fight it, albeit shocked, but there are no water Pokemon around. The shock factor also gets in the way to let her focus and fight properly. When everything seems lost, Trinity is saved by a mysterious girl who has water powers. Ofc the girl is Diana uvu
Diana brings Trinity to the HQ of other people who can fuse with Pokemon -name tbd- and they introduce themselves and the Pokejinka situation to the ranger (it's the beginning, and government is trying to cover up as much as they can). They also ask if she wants to join them, as Diana noticed Trinity's skills.---

I think this should cover up a first chapter? Like, 20 pages or so?
Questions to help develop the plot from the previous post are still valid (I am leaning towards the villain team for the reason behind Pokejinkas, but let me know!), and any plot ideas are always welcome! As soon as I have all the cast of characters (or at least the main ones) down, I will start expand the plot concept some, and then we can develop the story together! ^^
And, as soon as we have a solid story, I will start a comic of it ;3

ALRIGHT Some thoughts and things to note I thought of (I will comment again if I think of anything else!)

As far as region/general set up
+ Personally I think it should be our own region, then we can adapt the settings as we need to for the story and gives us a bit more freedom in general
+ I'm not opposed to a villain team (maybe trying to harness it for bad) but I don't think they should be the root of what's causing this to happen.  I think maybe it should have an item origin that somehow selects/connects with certain trainers/rangers/civilians/etc.??  LMK THOUGHTS
+ On WHY I think a villain team, I think it's reasonable that there needs to be a 'villain' in a story, even if the focus is on solving the mystery of why it happens/how does it pick a pokemon and a person

Questions/things to consider!
+ Are the ranger regions included in the world set up?
+ Is this a global problem, or primarily focused in x region?
+ What problem is this power/ability trying to solve? (injustice between people/pokemon, saving the environment, etc.) or why is it suddenly happening?
+ Are there rumours of it happening or is it completely secret?
+ Is the fusion between a pokemon and a person, and the gijinka caused by the same root object/problem/etc.??
+ Cont. from the last question, do some of those pokemon secretly live in with humans?

AND STORY WISE That looks good to me, Trin would CERTAINLY be surprised to see that like omg, and she would get a little flustered and confused on what to do, so it's reasonable.  Not to mention if there aren't any water pokemon around + the shock, she wouldn't really be thinking of other problem solving solutions since she'd be in shock.

Aw gosh I dunno Kitty I'm not even sure how to contribute and I don't have any OCs or anything for this ;;;

(hope this is the right way to quote people damn TH;;; )

You don't need to bby! I just wanted to let you know if you wanted to have any of your babies in this (it's just an AU, me and Krissy sticked in Diana and Trinity just for fun xD And I'm putting in more of the OCs I actually have, gonna create new ones only for things like villain team), esp since they go magical girl style I think your babies would look precious! <3

@krissehpoo

GOSH WASN'T EXPECTING SUCH A LONG INPUT POST THANKS A LOT BBY
All of the questions def give food for thought and help me develop things uvu

okay so, region-wise! I agree that for sak of plot we would probably feel more comfortable with our own region, and eventually have some connections with other regions later on.
As for the villain team, I didn't want to have it connected to the whole fusion thing (even if they may def want to use it for their purposes), but I thought they could be the ones behind the Pokemon's gijinkafy-ing event, like I said, maybe as a social experiment which led them to see the potential of gijinkas and use them for their own goals. Since like you said, I'm more towards the idea of having an item be responsible of the pokemon/trainer-ranger fusion, I'm not sure I wanna use an item also for the reason behind gijinkas. So yeah, that's why I was either going with experiments, or maybe something more related to natural causes like radiation and pollution (just gonna find a way to have it all makes sense asdfghjkl;;; ). For the fusion, it would probably be an item as I said, but require also a certain amount of emphatic abilities with Pokemon, kind of like the MegaStone!

Questions time!
-I'm considering in a sort of multiverse canon, which is the one I usually rely on when making Pokemon OCs, so are included all regions known through games/anime/manga. So yep, also ranger regions!
-For now, we're just at the beginning of the problem (like, it started only since 1-2 years), so it's limited to our region of choiche; going ahed to some questions below, yes, the governement (Elite 4 and politics) are trying to keep it a secret until they get more information about it. The gijinka Pokemon who want contact with humans try to hide their real nature (so, like Seraphina for example, they are strictly human-like instead of kemonomimi) and some live in society just like any other human. There are some rumors from people being attacked by the "rebels", but they're usually tried to be bribed to silence by the government when they send people like Diana and Trinity to solve the situation
-The trainers and rangers with the fusion ability are trying to save people (and gijinkas who are on the humans' side too) from the rebel gijinkas who would like to use their new abilities to make Pokemon the superior race. They also take in stray gijinkas who don't know where to stay/what to do with their new form, and gijinkas who have been discovered by humans and can't live anymore in society.
-THIS is something I'm struggling especially about, it's either that the fusion was created/discovered by humans when making research on how to counter the gijinkas (so different cause, as I said before), or they happened at about the same time due to the discovery of a certain item. I'm more partial to the first option, but ofc I'm always open to discussion on why that would be a bad idea and such xD

I'M GLAD THE FIRST PART WAS OK OMG I was really worried since Trinity is going to be the main chara in it aaaah;;; Diana too was in shock and lost when she first encountered gijinkas, but thankfully since she won the league tournament several times she knows the right people to get into the fusion project when she told the event to the higher-ups. So yeah as I mentioned in notes, I'll still send you betas of chapters to you/anyone else who joins to be sure that everyone is IC!

THANKS FOR ALL THIS INPUT AGAIN OMG I'm honestly hella embarassed and nervous about it this but I'm also happy to build up something with my closest baes ♥

Well I am a huge sucker for magical girls but I don't even have designs for those for any of my OCs!
I would def not be opposed to cute outfits for them but it's also still confusing who of mine would even fit in

KurosuAi

Oh my goodness. I didn't even realize these were a thing OxO Sorry I haven't contributed much! I definitely have plenty of kids to throw in here with ya'lls but yeah xD I didn't realize brainstorming was happening so long ago OTL

SO LATE RESPONDING SRRY /////

I think it's a good idea to establish our own then bring in ties to the others later- we might as well keep it simple to start since figuring out a whole region will be lots of work!
GOT IT, I think thats a good idea to actually have 2 diff origins since they are biologically different events! The experiment could maybe even be inspired by the idea/legend that people and pokemon can fuse so they wanted to see what power they could draw from it and got the gijinkas?? MAYBE??

Oh okay, that's a good idea! I like the idea that some of the gijinkas try to blend in too- hair can get so wild in pokemon they definitely won't have to worry about standing out omg.
I think having people being bribed to stay quiet could bring in an interesting point too.  Sure the intent is there and good, but it brings in a neat thing of is it fair to hide this from people and make others stay quiet?? Is it ethical to keep this big thing that's happening a secret when it's starting to impact public lives??  Maybe something we can address in the story with the characters and such as it develops!
I like that idea- so in all there's multiple conflicts that all revolve around 1 problem- the villain team creating gijinkas for power/trying to harness the power of the trainer/pokemon fusion, gijinka pokemon rebelling against humans, and trying to solve the mystery of where this is coming from and why it's happening!

Sounds good to me! I look forward to seeing what you write and feel free to ask questions anytime and I'll try to respond faster. orz;
