(Why am I IC lol)

Forgive me if there's already a game like this, please let me know!

so I've been thinking about it for a while, how would your character react to see someone staring at them? Do they become flustered? Angry? Scared?

Sylvee || 2003 lezbtron

DAMNED-MEGAPOLIS CLAIMM !! ping since its been a whole month . also hope this was alright !!

The robot was hunting for something, that was obvious, why else would he be in the middle of the thick woods? While he wasn’t unnerved nor put off by his current surroundings he still wished he was somewhere else, something so vast couldn’t only contain just him and his target. Speaking of, he had been combing through this place for the past few hours and was getting agitated by this point as his sensors couldn't find anything to pinpoint his target.

The tv head would continue on his path with a grumble before stopping his walk as his eye lingered straight ahead. He felt something, no, someone. He felt someone’s eyes practically burning into the back of his head. His target perhaps? He’d slowly turn his head to attempt to spot whoever’s eyes laid upon him, and bingo. He saw the other one and he knew he had seen him. and it was not his target for sure.

Sylvee would turn fully around, taking his hands out of his coat pockets as he’d show he was unarmed, at least to the untrained eye. “Aye, these your part of the woods?” He’d ask, his voice gruff but his tone was friendly, or sounded like that anyway. He just needed to keep a vaguely similar tone to get himself outta this situation as he’d stare right back at the .. beast? He wasn’t sure what they were, but it wasn’t any of his business.

“Hey, if these are your part of the woods, I’ll leave, no need to get both of us turned to scrap.” He’d attempt to reason, he knew the other likely wasn’t robotic but ‘scrap’ would probably get the message across, plus that world was ingrained in his vocabulary. He’d await a response from the other, beginning to slowly back away as he’d continue to stare right back into the eyes of the beast.

“Look, I’m walkin’, you don’t have to even worry.” He’d tssk, wishing that he’d also cease staring as the feeling of eyes glued to him would make the bot uncomfortable at best and more agitated at worse.

np: if he's staring you down it's probably either because he's genuinely interested in you or you're his target , awful at hiding it too

Cubik Erevus

@lazbtron claim!

—

Cubik sat on a bench, scribbling in his notebook trying to figure out a way to turn him back after… whatever the hell he just did to himself. He took a break from writing to look around. Maybe something nearby could give him an idea? As he looked he couldn’t find anything but noticed something.. no, someone looking at him. He couldn’t tell exactly what the person was. Did he also get into an accident like him? Either way he was getting creeped out by the staring, awkwardly standing up and walking off while keeping the guy who was staring at him within his sight.

GUSTAV SODAPUNKED

Claim Erevus

Smoking two cigarettes at a time next to a park fountain leaning on a wall of a building near the edge doing your typical leg pose... pondering, humming... but the humming is a bit too quiet for anyone to hear... but himself, Gustav is just there, minding his own business as he's watching people walk by chattering, listening to music, you name it.

all is normal, it was just a normal and ordinary day as usual, right? Well you're mostly sort of correct if you've answered yes. It was normal. However he felt a feeling... a feeling of being watched but nobody's there??? Confusing to say the least if you ask me. He slowly looked over to his left to see if it was him or if someone was really looking at him.

turns out he was right, he found Cubiks Rube staring right at him on a bench, Gustav didn't find this creepy at all.. he knew this individual wasn't some sort of rival gang member.. he also knew the person obviously wasn't starting at him with any malice. Gustav didn't say a word.. not even a murmur. He talked to himself saying "Hmmph.. what's this dude's deal?" said Gustav, pulling out his third cigarette and lit it with his silver lighter.

----

NP : If Gustav is looking at you, it's either because you caught his attention or because you're a potential gang rival. That is up for you, the next person to decide which one to pick.

Fuiji Baisol

Fuiji doesn't know exactly when it started, or where she had wandered off to in one of her moments of sulking. All they know is, the moment they dared glancing backwards to scan their surroundings, they saw someone. It was hidden at first, but right there it was. Eyes, one black and one white staring right back at her; intensely so. Was that.. person, even blinking? Uraru wasn't sure. She didn't want to be.

They felt a shiver run through their spine. It was getting scary, and this person just wasn't going to stop. Where they intrigued by her? Creeped out? Planning to attack..? It wouldn't be the time, but, normal people would eventually leave after a bit, right? She watched as he seemed to pull out a cigarette and light it, but his eyes did not blink and he just kept on watching. Erhm-
Before anything else could happen, Fuiji scurried out of there. Her inexistent heart would be racing, as she slowly but surely managed to melt back into the floor, disappearing into a thick puddle of the black and white substance left behind by her normal melting.

np: fuiji doesn't exactly have eyes, but the glitches in her face could maybe resemble em.

V omg this was great! Might write a lil follow up once I have time :3

Daisy | デイジー Spinebby

Being out in public always gave Daisy the sense all eyes on her and that someone is keeping a watchful eye. It's something she had become too accustomed to, and had accused innocent people of staring at her when they hadn't even paid much mind to her. The encounter is always awkward and served with dozens of apologies. However, this time something was feeling especially odd. It was that feeling like somebody's eyes were burning into her head.

Rather than looking up and around, she further buried her face into her book, now deliberately making sure she didn't look up or around. Daisy hadn't processed that, if a malicious individual was nearby, this would make it much easier for something to happen to her. She was making an attempt to tune out all of her surroundings, yet it remained fruitless.

She couldn't focus on her book, and every sound around her seemed to get louder with each passing moment. In an admission of defeat to her own mind, she sighed and closed her book, setting it beside her to finally take in her surroundings. She must be just paranoid, right? Surely there wasn't anyone paying so much attention to her? Why would anyone anyways?

However, her thoughts to reassure herself were completely wrong once she'd noticed Fuiji, but she couldn't tell if they were even looking at her. They had no proper shape or crevice where an eye could be, and their head appeared to be in her direction. They didn't look horribly threatening either. Perhaps this could be a good time to work on her own anxieties and teach herself that not everyone was out to get her.

"Hello there..!" Daisy waved to Fuiji and called in that direction to make sure she caught their attention, but she still couldn't tell if they'd even heard her. "You look a little lost..is there something you need?" She hoped that she didn't look crazy to the people surrounding her and walking by, nor did she want anyone else to assume she was trying to talk to them.

Maybe she should've kept her mouth shut.

np; If Daisy is staring at someone for too long she's either zoned out, thinks they look suspiciously like him, knows someone and is too shy to say hello, or find them threatening/scary and are trying to keep an eye on them to keep them away

v tiny followup felt necessary KJSHDJ//

Daisy flinched and immediately turned away, shielding her face with a hand. How embarrassing. As friendly as he seemed, she couldn't fall for something like that again. She didn't even know this guy either. Yet, she didn't want to be rude. She was left stuttering, and it almost sounded like she was just cold rather than panicking.

After a moment of struggling, she took a deep breath and was finally able to form a coherent sentence. "N..no..! That's alright!" Daisy laughed awkwardly, quickly beginning to walk away. "Sorry for bothering, I'll be on my way- thank you, though!" As she swiftly started leaving, she felt her anxiety spike. This guy wouldn't try to follow her, right? Not everyone in the world is insane, maybe he really had pure intentions.

Still, it was much better to politely decline then take that risk.

 Fujin Gomji

LMAO her reaction is so valid!! Fujin is probably just standing there, confused about being rejected akjakshd

Fujin was sitting in an extremely straight posture with his arms crossed, his eyes open wide and unwavering like usual. He sat still like a statue, giving off an uncanny vibe as he looked straight ahead - although really, he was admiring how the leaves swayed gracefully in the wind. It was enough to drive people (and souls) away, but being the oblivious character, Fujin failed to notice and continued to stare off into the distance.....

Until he felt a pair of eyes directed towards him.

In less than a second, he snapped his head in the direction of the unfamiliar visitor, genuinely surprised to see someone visiting his garden for the first time in decades. Perhaps they were lost on their way to heaven or thought his garden was way too beautiful to miss. Fujin liked to believe it was the latter. After all, he put so much effort into decorating it. Just as he was about to welcome the visitor with his thunderous voice, he got a glimpse of Daisy staring at him from afar, seemingly nervous about something...but nervous of what? If he guessed correctly, she looked sort of fidgety, as if she was scared or intimidated by something or someone.

Wait, could it be Fujin she was scared of? If that was the case, it wouldn't be surprising, but being a dimwit, Fujin had no clue about the possible chance that he himself was the problem. She was likely keeping her eyes on Fujin to make sure she knew of his whereabouts so that she could actively avoid him, but unfortunately, he would see this as a sign of curiosity and be thrilled to have her as company. "You there!" his loud voice easily echoed all the way to wherever Daisy was standing. "What are you doing, standing there alone in the cold?" That was strange, coming from a man who was practically half-naked. "Come, you're more than welcome to take shelter in my home. We'll have tea and play board games! I've acquired a few from a store in the mortal world, and you shall guide me on the rules!" He was smiling as he yelled this, his laughter following short as he waited for her answer. Fujin was excited about the (unfortunate) guest who happened to stumble in his territory, and well, Daisy was cute. That always made him weak to the knees.

Np: Fujin either looks like he's staring at you when he's really not, or because he thinks you're hot

ADGDCJVK Man I love that, tysm!!

Taeshan KurejiNeko

(Wanna do an aftermath to this if that's okay!)

Taeshan rubbed her hands together as a bowl of ramen was placed in front of her, steam rising from the food. "Here's the usual, Taeshan," the cook said and added in a whisper, "May have added an extra helping of pork, but I'm not too sure about that!"

"You and your scattered attention span are the best, Boss!" Taeshan replied happily as she took up her chopsticks. She was thinking about starting with the hardboiled egg, but stopped as her gaze locked with the person across the shop stall. It was a red-haired, bare chested tattooed man who was staring rather intensely at her. She narrowed her eyes at him briefly, feeling a sense of familiarity but inwardly shrugged it off and began to eat. Maybe it was the makeup around his eyes...? she thought to herself; hers was the same color, too...

After a minute or so of enjoying her meal, Taeshan glanced back at where the man was - he was still staring. It wasn't a creepy or off-putting stare, but she was starting to get irritated with him regardless. "What?" Taeshan said to the stranger with a grumble. "Don't you know it's rude to-"

It finally clicked, the reason why he was familiar-looking, and Taeshan slammed her hands on the table and stood up, now glaring at the man as she felt her face grow warm. "YOU-!" Taeshan shouted, pointing a finger at the man. "You're the one from the hot springs, aren't you...?!" A sudden gust of wind kicked up around her, buffeting the ramen stall and causing it to shake. To think that this creep saw everything-!

"'EY!" the cook snapped at Taeshan, who realized what she was doing and had the wind die down. "Just because you're a regular doesn't mean you're free to wreck my shop! Whatever's going on between you two, do your quarreling outside." Taeshan mumbled an apology and slowly sat back down, her anger subsiding but not completely abated - she definitely didn't want to cause trouble, but she couldn't let this transgression against her slide, either.

Ears twitching, she glowers at the man and mutters - seemingly more to herself than him - "I'm going to kick your ass as soon as I'm done eating..."

@NP: Taeshan would likely be caught staring when she's tired and spacing out, or if she notices something about a person that catches her eye (cool jewelry/accessories or extra limbs, for example).

Roku Aloofcloud

((REVIVING THREADS WITH MY LITTLE FAMILY))

This was ridiculous. He had lost his sister again, the curly mop of green hair nowhere to be spotted. She had left him behind before he even knew it, in an unknown environment, surrounded by a bunch of annoying people. All the 6-tailed fox could do was stand in this spot out of the way, he found as his sister finished up whatever the hell it was she was doing in the first place.

Most people, at least, seemed to be minding their own business, too busy with their own lives to pay any mind to the fox with all six tails lashing around just behind him. Well, there was one set of eyes he could feel on his form, but he chose to ignore it. That was the plan anyway, but he found himself getting more and more annoyed as the feeling remained. Roku was already readying his whiteboard as he turned his head to look in the direction he felt the stare coming from.

Locking eyes with Taeshan, Roku narrowed his gaze, turning his head to look down into his hand briefly before holding up said whiteboard for Taeshan to see. Only one word was written down on it in big, bold lettering: "What?"

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE U.S YUNE

Milan asks Roku if he has business with the Cheshire, but the reality was he was just looking out for his troublesome sister, and Milan was a threat. His gaze doesn't shift in the slightest as he regards the feline, nails tapping on the whiteboard he carried with him. He could speak; it's not that he regarded it for the safety of Milan or these other faceless people to him, but Seven was in his radius. That's how it always went.

With a sigh, the kitsune turns his attention down to his whiteboard, the screeching of the marker against it heard as he quickly scribbles his message to Milan: "I have no business with you. I know of you. Leave the green one alone." His messages are concise; he has to fit them on his whiteboard after all. As if to further his point, he draws a tiny version of Seven to the best of his lackluster artistic ability—it gets the image across at least.
