Hi, there! This just works like those "favorite character of the person above" threads but it's mainly oriented around character profiles. For the most part, this works like other variations! Here are the rules:
- Despite the name of the thread, mentioning design is allowed! However, mentioning design only is not allowed as the thread revolves around profiles.
- Do NOT insult other people's characters. If I see someone insulting characters or whatnot, they will be banned immediately.
- For now, I'm not sure how big this will be? So I'm going to say that please only go once every 3 people until 24 hours pass; in that case, you can go again.
- This rule is subject to change if the game becomes more popular than I anticipated.
- If the person above you asks to pick from a specific folder/tag, please obey that!
- NEW - (Don't worry, this hasn't happened! This is just a precaution) If you link a folder or tag however, please make sure that the next poster has enough choice; aim for around 6 characters, at the minimum.
- Please, please be fair! You do not have to write a lot if the above person wrote a lot. However, I will not tolerate one-sentence posts. The basic rule of thumb is that you should try to write a claim that you yourself would like to receive! I've decided that the minimum sentence count for this thread is 3 sentences.
- Exception to the 3 sentence rule: If the character bios are too short, then you will not be penalized for writing less than 3 sentences! That being said, do not go out of your way to pick a shorter bio solely for the purpose of not writing something thoughtful.
- That being said, please pick characters with longer profiles whenever possible.
- Claiming is obviously allowed given the nature of the game, but please don't leave it unattended for more than ~6 hours! If you do so, you will be skipped. I will send a ping if I see that your post has been left alone for 1 hour.

They have such a dark backstory and past, but I'm glad they're working to change that. Also I find it interesting that his morals/ sense of justice outweighs his loyalty/ duty!
He's pretty loyal already so to know there's something he'd put above that is saying something.
Also, ngl, he looks younger than 22 lol, but that may be just the art style /no offense
Also, oof a people pleaser to the point of they forgetting about themselves. I'm glad thay at least have Asmo now. I feel like they can improve with time—in terms of mental state, I mean. And I think, certainly, their new master would be more than happy to help

It's gotta be Zanzibar. He's got a very unique opening to his story, it's so gritty and intriguing. Makes me wonder what family he belonged to. Or, what deity they worshipped. His ability is pretty neat too, I bet it comes in handy with being a detective. His job is like the perfect fit for him, low empathy might benefit him. I haven't mentioned how your writing suits him, but it does. Snappy and blunt but still packaged with little intricacies, I love it. 'Dead men tell no tales' is such a good phrase to incorporate into his profile blurb. He checks all the boxes for me, he's middle aged, strange, a detective... I wonder where you got his name- from the archipelago or the Billy Joel song? Either way it feels real classy.
NP, my characters in my 'unsorted' and 'favorites' folders all have profiles written, with the exception of gansa & the hare.

anywayz i LOVE unanswered questions and mysteries in oc profiles, i LOVE when information is intentionally left out of things so it makes u wonder what the hell is up w them, and i LOVE symbolism in writing n such. very cool guy methinks, i like how ominous the entire profile sounds, like something is waaaaaay off. plus, an off-putting wolf in a suit, is that not a peak character?

okay first off, i just wanted to say that the four of them is such am iconic cast!! i enjoyed reading through 4 of them :O
my favorite would be jay jacome! i don't see many characters with anxiety that aren't "shy timid introverts" [i mean, they're valid but], i don't see many developed beyond that demeanor. there's honestly so many different ways someone can express and deal with their anxiety, and i think you showed that well in jay! and even if a chill-out [or atleast "trying 2 b chill"] demeanor may seem contradicting to some, i think you managed to write him in a way it make sense and feels in-character imo. i think it's because of the additional parts you've given when developing him [like him being a mediator and voice of reason, etc]. also maybe i just have a soft spot for laidback characters didjjdjd
honorable mention goes to... the rest of the gang actually ahaha. i mean it, the way you've built their personalities makes their chemistry bounce well with each other! they're honestly a nice dynamic that fits this fantasy-comedy project :D also note but their designs are just amazing i've always love looking at them when they're around :O

Ok so I think Melody is my favorite! First of all. I didn't even notice she was a cyborg until I got to the robotic abilities part 😭 anyways I like the way she's written! I find it interesting when robot characters are interested in the parts that made them. She also just sounds fun to be around! I'd probably be her friend if she approached me. Though the part about her not thinking she's good enough and tries to push herself further.. I like it when characters have internal struggles like that, it makes them feel more realistic. All in all, I think she's pretty neat :3

wowowow I wonder who my favourite could be. It's bitin im a bitin stan. Her backstory makes me go AHHH because well, being forced to be the golden child is so real actually.. She deserves all the love. The part with Erin makes me giggle, I knew they were exes but LMAO I didn't know they were that messy. I believe in Bitin Monika Lav supremacy.. she and Beatrice both have 2 hands I am JUST saying.

I took one look at Arioch and went ballistic; I fucking LOVE characters based on gambling/casinos. Magicians too - or anyone that reminds me even vaguely of a clown and they tick all the boxes it is INSANE. /pos Also, we're like this 🤞 because I too dislike kids and like gambling [i play genshin impact]. Honestly I adore them and the "overexaggerated villainy british accent" is even better.
