(OOC) Does sunlight really not affect you at all? Like, you don't feel even a bit sick under it? If so, are other vampires envious of you because of that?

It's a little embarrassing to think about that; she's what she is because she's made of magic, and tied strongly to it. But yes, she has still wondered what she'd be otherwise.

"I guess... Something to do with birds. There's no bird magic." she quickly adds, averting eyes and frowning, already flustered. "But I would communicate with them... Maybe fly like them. Yeah, flight has always been something good to have." in theory she could achieve it with training, but she has never gotten to it.

"If you could have a different power -besides fire control and regeneration- what would it be?"

"I don't fully understand it, but basically we have our powers at birth but can't use them until puberty. Sometimes they can get unlocked younger under extreme stress or when we're in danger. But we have to slowly develope our abilities.

My favorite ability? Its probably my psychokenesis/telekinesis! Since I'm the most skilled in that, and I love being able to make things come to me instead of having to get up to grab them. I'm lazy!"

"ummm... what is a demi star devil...?"

I don't really live in any universe, I kinda just travel around.  Some are crazy different from my own, others are quite similar.
I have regretted it often since when I loose control of myself I use it.  Once I attacked one of my friends, I stabbed her and forced her into a different form.  She is a shape shifter.  I am so worried she won't want to be around me anymore.

"So this, uh, curse, or hex, or whatever, only works on humans? You touch them and they turn into monsters or animals? What about cursed humans? Like me, since I'm technically human but at the same time not? Eh, don't touch me. Not because of that hex, I just don't want you getting grease on this suit. It's Armani."

"Y'know I never really thought about that! Once I realized I couldn't keep it, I wasn't interested." He pauses and tilts his head as he closes his eyes. After a moment, he nods to himself. "Greed says that it changes to the most commonly used currency of wherever I am. Not like it matters. Like I said, I can't keep it," he shrugs.

"Does the kind of money you can shoot out change at all depending on where you are and what the local currency is? Or does it just default to a certain kind that you usually deal in, or become whatever kind you want just whenever? I think it would be kinda cool to shoot out a bunch of different foreign currencies, even if it's just temporary. Especially if the region had something weird and unwieldy as their currency..."

"Oh, I'm the last person to go for advice on that kind of thing, I'm awful at explaining things," he chuckles. "I've just been practicing since I was a kid, so it's just instinct now. I doubt they make guns exactly the same here as they do where you're from, but it certainly helps that I've got pretty nice models that are easy to handle and are less prone to mishaps. If it has any hiccups, I ditch it and get a new one... except for my fancy ornamental ones, but those aren't for regular use anyway." 

He shrugs. "I guess it helps that I have the money for that kind of thing, so I can afford to just blow off as much ammo as I want. You certainly get a lot of practice in when you're using a firearm all the time, and no matter how many people might question the decisions of my parents, it certainly helped that they let me start so young. Practice until it's habit, until you're just as fast as a semi-automatic, until you could fire and reload in your sleep." He pauses. "Hypothetically speaking of course. I've lost a few swabbies from sleep shooting, but at least my aim was spot on, huh?"

"You're a marksman? Do you have any tips for me?" She holds up her pistol, "I'm used to using a semi-automatic, so this is a bit weird to me, haha." 

" I have an Ak-47, two matching revolvers and a colt 1911. I don't really use the last one though, because it's jammed on me a few times. I'm really hoping to get rifle in the future!"

"and let's see... a favorite? Hm, I guess it would be my Ak-47, since I'm used to it. But my revolvers are better for precision."

"I've never seen a demon look so nice, tell me a little about your demon side. We're you born a demon?"

"Ack. People with influence whom just use it whenever it benefits them. They bully and disrespect people, things, objects.... It really just saddens me. If I had that kind of influence I would use it to spread positivity."

"What exactly do you mean by 'disrespectful influencers'? Have you had unpleasant situations with people like these in the past?"

"It isn't mine, I was talked into taking it without exactly knowing what it was about, and when I used it, the thing got stuck and now I can't get it out. They said it was because we were so highly incompatible with each other, but I'm pretty sure it was on purpose to keep me close - and it works, because I can't do anything but to obey! I don't know much about how it works either, but I understood some people simply can fuse with the seals and use the power of the demon residing within the seal to fight. 

I like FSP games, but I kind of play whatever - horror, adventure, puzzle; it doesn't matter as long as it has either an entertaining plot or likeable characters." 

"Tell me more about this demon seal. I've never really heard about magical boys, was this seal always on you or did you get it from somewhere? And what kind of video games do you like to play the most?"

"I'm especially interested in the Great Depression. The struggles and the politics are my favorite things to read up on. A close second is the Cold War. To shorten things, I love US history the most, although I study world history time to time. Especially with one of my kids obsessed with Eastern culture." He pauses to rub his forehead and sigh. "Bookwise, I'm not much of a reader. Kinda got that out of my system - more purged it - after college. I like reading history books, memoirs, things like that. It's why I like the Great Depression so much. The books from that time? The diaries and journals? That's some powerful stuff."

"Oh my, history... what a fascinating subject. I know you're teaching it at a fairly novice level, but is there any particular era you like covering in your classes? Or a particular country, perhaps? And is that different from your personal favorite to read about on your own time?"

Maeve laughs softly, raising her furred digits to the petals sprouting out of her empty eye socket.  "It's kind of you to worry, but no, it doesn't hurt. It is real though - would you like to touch it?" There's a flash of a grin there, like she knows exactly what she's doing, but she continues without expecting a reply. "When my people are injured, flowers grow from our wounds, repairing the damage and making our bodies stronger. You could call it a form of regrowth, I suppose? ...Though, it's not regeneration. I'll never get my eye back, nor my arm. But if I do get bombed again, I'll be in an even better position because of them, though I do hope that doesn't happen again."

"O-Oh! A pretty rabbit, do you always have that rose covering your eye? is that.. supposed to be real? It's not hurting you right?"

"I uh... kinda? It was a small gift given to me by a form of higher realm. It was recent too, but apparently I found out that the happier I am, the higher I float! Weird, huh? Sometimes its difficult to get down because people say I'm always a happy guy!"

"Floating, that's interesting. Can you control how high or low you float?"

"I admit I'm unsure. That's something that, thankfully, I have not yet experienced. I've been hurt before, though, by silver. I suspect I would stay dead, just like any other mortal creature. If I were to reform... it might not be as I am now."
