When you feed off of somebody's emotions, do they lose that emotion or what? Also, does it have a taste?

"Ha ha ha, that is a very good joke, actually! As for the question, I guess it may be silly, I was the kid who wanted to be a veterinary when she grew up. It may have been right for me when I was alive, but I wouldn't know. I've always had a hard time letting go of the characters in books or movies that died so tragically, too... So I kept thinking about bringing them back. Of course, those movies were made by living humans, or undeads like us but still more... 'Down to earth' with the fact that necromancy is kind of useless to us as species. All I can do to someone like me is heal, which is useful, but not the point. But little kid me thought that it was ridiculous that those characters died if there's the possibility of necromancy!
Soon enough I found out you can't bring them back, exactly, unless they serve you and lose most of their independent thinking.
Still, life source theory always fascinated me, no matter how unnecessary others saw that fascination, I just kept thinking about how life works, and how to fix it, you know? Even after knowing it's not as fun or easy as I thought. I think a lot of necromancers like the job because it's a way to have power over ones who are absolutely unable to complain, but I genuinely like it because I'm fascinated! I try to be as respectful as I can, my approach is very meticulous and I try to best myself everyday! So that's why I ended up being a magicologist on the side. Now, that title sticks more than necromancer here, and I guess it's fine. Maybe one day they'll link the two and make a specialization! Until then... Oh, right, I got a little carried away... I just like the topic a lot. I guess that's pretty much it, though on top of everything I said, it helps that I thankfully can process magic theory very easily. I'm very thankful everyday for that, I would probably be very unhappy if I couldn't consume all the information I wanted, you know? haha!"
