14/11 update - Rule update
From this point on, it's required that your post adheres to at least ONE (doesn't need to be all of them) of the following qualities
- You give at least three reasons or elements that made you fave the character
- You write at least three sentences explaining your choice
- You write a full paragraph that details why you enjoy the character
Note you are allowed to do more than these, but these are the minimum requirements.
If none of the above qualities are met, I'll issue a warning and a chance to edit your post to follow this new rule, and repeat offenders or people who won't edit their post to follow the rule will be banned from this game. This rule has been put in place to ensure everyone gets a response that is enjoyable to read. I'd also like to ask everyone to please read what the above person asks for, for example when giving a folder of characters to choose from or requesting to also read their profiles instead of just looking at the images.
Everybody loves getting favourites, so why not make a game where faves are guaranteed and people can compliment your OCs?

❖ Don't be rude, insult people's characters, or make inappropriate comments. "I like Jef because I didn't think it was possible to be so ugly" comments are not a good reason to fave and will result in an instant block from this and my other threads.
❖ Actually fave the character! Don't only say what you like. Remember that this is a fave game primarily!
❖ Try to go into detail with your explanation. "The way his dress compliments his skin tone works so well and the texture of his hair is too gorgeous" is more fun to receive than "I like his design"!

Faved Metallica because I'm a fan of Metallica lol and I absolutely 100% have a thing for rockstar type characters. I love his long flowing black hair and the choker. The flames are a nice touch too! Love them. His guitar slays too. And Iron Maiden is a stellar band so all around, this bro is my type of OC.

okay so i faved two characters because i really liked them but im only gonna talk about the first one :3
So Xueyong really caught my attention at first because of his incredibly bright and funky colour scheme. His backstory and personality made me like him even more. You wouldn't expect someone in their 40s to be like Xueyong, but there he is, hyper and all lol. Also, his quirks stood out to me, particularly him trying to learn to speak backwards. That's just so precious, I absolutely love that! 10/10 deserves all the decora bands
Faved Shen because dragons hold a special place in my heart! He has a really beautiful color scheme. He also reminds me of some wise old man and that’s adorable. <3
I favorited Nikolai because I loveeee the character design of it. I’m aware that someone else made it, but it shits well with it’s Personality of being very loyal and kind, it’s just amazing all around

I picked Cookie! I found his backstory really interesting especially with how he kept the birds he was supposed to eat and instead started observing and even breeding them - I think it's a very interesting and memorable choice! His hesitance with the food he was given him was also neat to read about because even with all the lab experiment characters I have seen (and have myself) I think this is the first time I run into someone who refused to cooperate by choosing not to eat?

I faved Oliver because:
- I found the conflict between him and his family to be really interesting, as well as how that affected his personality.
- I think it's neat how his heterochromia is fairly subtle.
- He just doesn't have hat many favs compered to your other characters, so I wanted to help with that.

I faved Ara!! I haven’t seen many duck ocs and honestly that’s a shame because they’re fantastic, and Ara is super cute!! Also the idea of a duck bank manager is super charming and funny to me, I love it. Overall she seems like a super cute character and I love her thx
I chose to favourite Apple. I really enjoy how you decided to make distinct differences between her and Shane, both physically and mentally and in terms of ability, even if they were initially the same being. Apple isn't the first fractured being OC I've read about, but the way you handle it feels very well thought and makes her (and by extent Shane) stand out.
I'm also really curious about what the Shane and Apple looked like when they were the same person.
I faved Yhone! I'm a huge fan of skull characters and his design is very cool and interesting. Especially because he has like 2 in 1. I don't see skull characters with more than one skull and especially connected skulls very often.
I absolutely adore Moni! her design popped out to me immediately because her palette is gorgeous - the hues compliment each other so well, and i love the tree-like pattern on her neck - it's so cool and i've never seen anything like that before! I also really liked how she's friendly but arrogant - it's a very interesting coupling of personality traits i hadn't thought about before, as normally characters who are arrogant tend to be closed off (or so i've seen). overall a very good dragon cs with some stunning art! ;u;
OHHHHH NOVA IS A GOOD........ i was definitely struck by their design right off the bat because it's just !! so vibrant and fits their personality super super well! the colors work nicely and i alway love tacky fashion which is a big plus.
from their bio they just seem like! a really cool person and they definitely fit for being a spirit of gambling - their personality, interests, and other info compliment eachother nicely and it's hard to put into words but ! i just really like the type of character they are if that makes any sense. i also found that the broadness of gambling in their terms a lot more interesting and making more sense than if it was just the 'normal' plain old definition

Oof Cool dog is gorgeous I adore the hat and the little tuft of fur that sticks out. The colour palette is also amazing and the shades of yellow/gold used are on point! The plaid shirt really fits in well and I love how it is a slightly contrasting colour to the hat. The little plaster on the bridge of the nose really gives him some character and I adore it <33
