Listen to the song from the user above you!

Heya! Figured I'd start up a thread like this as I abolsutely love finding various music, and noticed there isn't a thread for this here yet! Plus, thinking on it, a good few of my OCs are inspired by some songs and music in general, and it never hurts to be on the hunt for more music to check out!

Basic Rules:

1. The person above you will link you a song to listen to!

2. Give your thoughts on it - is it something you liked, or is it just not your cup of tea? Did it inspire you to make an OC on the fly? Feel free to express this as much or as little as you want! (Please be respectful and civil in your reply, though.)

3. In the same post, link a song for the next person to listen to!

[edit] 4. If you're next in line, please claim before going ahead; I totally missed out due to IRL things going on, I realize some people might of been Ninja'd! So let's try to avoid being ninja'd from now on <:"D

EDIT; PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Heya! I've gotten a few concerns from people that go through this thread that some may of been a bit disrespectful about one's tastes in music. Music is something it's obvious not everyone is going to like the same thing, but I must remind you to PLEASE, be respectful to the person above you when having shared music. If it isn't your thing, please be kind and simply say "It wasn't my cup of tea, sorry. I'm glad you like it though!" or something nice along those lines. Having someone be told the song you chose (which might even mean a lot to you on your own terms and reasons behind it) is horrible or nasty, can be a bit rude. Let's do our best to keep polite and civil here while we all jam out to some awesome tunes! Thanks!

All good? Let's get started! I'll link over a song for the first person to start things off!

First song: The Maddest Kind of Love, by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

This is something that's normally out of my jam, so it kinda took long for me to gather my thoughts for this song. I like the vocals, but the instrumentals seem like it's trying a bit uhh... too hard? or it's just me (haha) Good song otherwise

So, I'm currently browsing my edgy side of my playlist. How about Yomotsu Hirasaka Corruption by -45 from D'va;;;;;;;;;;;5? -45 has been one of my favorite composers ever since Umineko, and most of his works are in my OC playlists ' o') Though this may be ear-scratching since it's Gothic Trance!

OH MY GOD THAT PLAYLIST IS GOING TO BE THE END OF ME HAHAHAHA RENAI DIOCULATION AND BLEND W I'M ASPHYXIATING HAHAHAHAHAJAJAKFKFNRKRNENEKEKJAJAJAJAJA

Anyways, to the main point we go! I always loved the soft, yet tasty bass and instrumentals this song has to offer! The fast vocals are really pleasing to listen too, and it can seem epic without having crazy orchestra or sexy electric guitars. Normally not fond of English songs that isn't Persona OST or NCIS, but this is something that I will always look forward to listen to! It's a very good song!

Anyways, I'm now coming back with some smooth slow jazz. I admit the vocals sound off-sync at times and the build up of the song is quite slow, but this is a song I pretty much associate with Katharos. How about Memento Mori by Voltage of imagination? Ever since Higurashi, I fell in love with bermei.inazawa's music, and I associate a lot of his music with Katharos. ' o')

Here are the lyrics of the song! The video doesn't seem to have it, haha

Vocals are too quiet imo, but it's really nice

I really like the vibes from this one.  I never heard it in my childhood, but it reminds me of some that I did, haha.

World Soundtrack Awards 2012 - Dinosaur (Innes sanctum/The egg travels) - Live (does anyone remember this movie?  I loved it as a kid ;;)

FriskyMeowlord

Yeah, I remember this movie. I saw it as part of someone's birthday party when I was like... idk.... 7?  I got a clipping from the film reel.

lmao, it's too optimistic for me, but it did fit the scene that it was made for and I enjoy watching live performances and watching people flip through their sheet music.

Check uhhh.... this out.

Oh man, I actually liked this song a lot. I like a lot of indie, alternative, and lofi hip hop, and although I don’t know what genre this is, I like it quite a lot and can see myself playing it every time I go out on a roadtrip.

This is a song I like a lot, but don’t see many other people liking it too much as it sounds weird to them. Hello World - Louie Zong on Youtube

AlwaysGradient

It's a cool song, in my opinion, reminds me of Goodbye to a world by Porter Robinson. I love the robotic vocalist and the lyrics meaning was pretty obvious. I still enjoyed the song.
