Your OC is forced to marry the OC above!

Posted 6 years, 4 months ago (Edited 5 years, 6 months ago) by colorful

EDIT: PLEASE ONLY BUMP THE THREAD EVERY 2 HOURS PER PERSON! Also, refrain from posting characters under 18!

I've thought of this weird idea after listening to some love songs and even wedding songs. This is probably the forum game we never needed, but I'll still post it for the heck of some giggles. So, how the heck does this work?

This is like Persona Q's Group Date Cafe dungeon, except it's completely random.

As you entered the place you were supposed to enter, you encounter something else. You are surrounded by sculptures of angels and adornments of white ribbons and bows with roses at the middle. The warm sunshine pierced through the colorful stained glass, emitting kaleidoscopic reflections. As you look up, you see the sacred illustrations at the ceiling.

You're confused. Tried to move, you noticed something off... Your clothes... Instead of what you last wore, your clothes changed to that of a bride/groom's due to some unknown phenomena. As you look straight to the altar, someone is waiting for you.

In short, you're getting married prior your notice.

Now I've explain what the heck's going on, let's proceed with the rules:

  • Your character must be above 18 years old.
  • Unless 24 hours have passed, you can only post every after 3 posts.
  • Please have at least 3 sentences in your reply. Although this is a crack roleplay thread, please be literate and legible with your replies.
  • Claim a post when you have a rad idea for a reply.
  • Please tell if you want your OC's sexuality to be respected. Though since this is a crack thread, I don't really mind for myself, surprise me.
  • Please, make your bio readable to logged in users, at least. If you were to post a locked character, you will be skipped without your notice.
  • Remember, this is just a crack thread and this is an AU, and this will never be canon. OCs who are taken can also take part, if you don't mind the cursed NTR.
  • Though if you really want to marry the OC above you, might as well ask the user about it before actually marrying them.
  • Rules can be changed anytime.

How does this work?

It's hard to explain it with words and I can't type as much since my back hurts, but let's do it like this. Don't imitate my examples, though.

  • 1st guy
  • 2nd guy: "Y-You've got to be kidding me. There's no way I'll marry someone as sacrilegious as you! In fact, I am already married! Well why would you...?!"
  • 3rd guy: "W-Why am I marrying this guy?! I mean, we're both guys and I only like pretty girls! He reeks, too!"
  • and so on...

 Taffa Reveir Dirge

"Hmm, I can't say I'm particularly opposed to this arrangement. You seem interesting enough after all. Though, I can't say I'd be too fond if you got in the way of my work." Taffa said with a semi interested smile.

Detective Nomi Glitterbark

Scowling, Nomi gathers up the fabric of the dress she's been magically shoved in, examining the layers of chiffon and silk draping off her form. "While this isn't the worst possible way to spend my afternoon, I have to say it's up there. Though... it's not like I'm opposed to travelling. If you can tone down the cutesy attitude with me, maybe we can at least have some vaguely interesting conversations. Okay? If I'm stuck with you, at least have the decency to not bore me."

♕ Ava ♕ Samagirl

"..." Ava glanced the man before her up and down, seemingly evaluating him. "Oh, I suppose this could actually work! Of course, we'd need to take you to the mall and get you something more fitting to wear, you could probably use a trim, but yes, I think you're suitable enough." She spoke, her voice holding a jovial tone. "Plus, having someone around that's gifted in the musical department would be lovely! You'll have to play something for me sometime, yeah?"

 maescia littlebirby

Maescia's face displayed nothing but concern for the guy she was supposed to be betrothed to. Redwood, the fawn behind her, was trying to be as intimidating as a deer fawn could be. She considered the situation: her, a witch, going to be married to a massacre man who has no problem with eating witches. The emotional instability was a problem, but nothing that she wasn't already exposed to.

"Mmm," she spoke gently, the signature lilt in her voice that followed her everywhere more apparent than ever. "I guess this is happening, but I mean, if you promise to keep me alive I can help you with anything you might need." The forest dweller lied right through her teeth, but she smiled softly like she meant every word she uttered.

At least the dress was nice.

Maescia practically wheezes. The sudden need for attention from her apparent spouse, the somehow goofy but terrifying vibe they gave off... they couldn’t be serious.

“Uh... huh.” Maescia became immediately interested in the appearance of Darling rather than their demeanor. “No offense, of course, but were you, ehm, admitted?”

Darling Rorichi

Darling was looking at Maescia with a mix of curiousity and light annoyance. "It's not like it don't like you or anything, sweetie, but i already have a super-duper lovey-dovey romance with another person~ But i think i can spend some time with you if you be kind enough to buy me some vanilla candies. And of course you will~ Who even can say no to such an adoooooorable cutie like me ❤️ " They started walking away towards banquet tables to find something sweet, pink and cute to eat, but then they stoped, turned to Maescia again and said with a huge smile on their face. "Oh~ Almost forgot~! Here is my wishlist, sweetie~ It's kinda huge as one can say, but we are family now, aren't we~? And family memebers should help and make each other dreams come true, so i'm counting on you, you are such a mighty witch after all ❤️" Darling giggled and went towards the tables to finally get some sweets.

Colette ChickieDee

"...I apologize profusely for having to marry me instead of the person that you love. I will not be offended if you continue your relationship with that person." Colette pauses, looking the other up and down in thought. "Still, I feel as if it would be good to at least be amicable with one another, seeing as we are, for all intents and purposes, to be married. I...can not bake any sweets, but perhaps I could sew some plushies for you? I do believe that I am good at that, at least."

Molly Burke Glitterbark

"At least it's a tuxedo," Molly breaths out, fiddling with her cuff-links and looking over the sharply cut dark fabric covering her torso. Briefly, her gaze flicks up to the blonde woman before her, lingering for a moment before she averts it.  Is it shame? Is it embarrassment? It's hard to tell, and neither Molly's expression nor her tone offer any more clues towards the answer.  "I don't quite understand how this has happened, but I can only imagine that the fault is mine.  I will endeavor to make this experience as painless as possible, miss. You seem far, far too kind to be associated with someone like me."

"I promise you, I'll do my utmost to keep you from harm." She offers her arm towards Colette, as if intending to escort her down the aisle. There's a stiffness to her posture, a hesitance, but her words are clearly sincere.

Molly Burke has never once been given any of the tools to emotionally handle the idea of marrying a stranger, and she seems to be responding to the proposition by sitting as straightly and as formally as possible. It would be a stretch to say that her intended's similar behavior seems to be putting her at ease, but it certainly isn't hurting, and she even manages to look somewhat in the proximity of his face. "Thank you. I... appreciate the sentiment, and while I apologize in advance for my family, I'm comforted that you're the sort of person who might understand. Please, feel free to treat me with professional distance until we're better acquainted. Being married is no excuse for intruding on one's privacy."

Eclipse Jester

Eclipse sat with hands neatly folded in his lap, carefully studying his intended betrothed. Marriage wasn't something he had ever contemplated before, but in this it seemed he had been given no choice. "I think," he began, lifting a hand to run through his hair. "That you and I could come to an understanding of sorts. Given your past, I would even venture to say that we're not all that dissimilar." His tone largely seemed to lack any emotion to it, but to the trained listener there was a very vague hint of surprise embedded. "I believe in time we could find this arrangement to be tolerable. Perhaps we may come to like one another."
