The air grew chill and dark, though perhaps it went unnoticed by Granger.
"Your body refused to die, and yet you see not hope for humanity but Fate's cruel humor. Your reflection becomes more and more unrecognizable each and every day.
"Too alone. Too empty. Too unmotivated. Time has become your friend, I suggest you lean on It for support."
The darkness faded away.
"You've changed since I've last seen you," spoke the shadows that chilled Ryn's skin. "You are still blinded by emotions and fears, yet I can see it, a path. Several paths. Where do they lead, I wonder? Which ones have you already gone down? Whether you know which ones are right or wrong, or whether I know which are right or wrong, that is the beauty of individuality, and it is what makes us us."
The cool air began to disappear along with the ghostly blue flame, yet the voice echoed one last time,
"The light that will guide you, I wonder how bright it will be?"
"You again."
Ryn looked up at the huge figure, and gave a narrow frown.
"Oh, who am I to critique a god? Or, whatever the hell you are," he folded his arms tightly across his chest, trying not to shiver.
"Too high and mighty, big man. What's a god know about bein' alive? Who are you to be strutting around tellin' everyone what you think's best? You know better, what, 'cause you're a billion years old and keep shadows running? Yeah, right," Ryn scowled, with grit teeth, "people have gotta figure shit out for themselves. Nobody gets anything out of some big... lamp telling 'em how to feel."

Ryn, who has been incessantly drumming his fingers on the table this whole time, cocks his head in the Prince's direction.
"What gave it away?" he flashes a grin-- or maybe it's more of a sneer. Either way, he's still damn-nearly vibrating in place, "Nice of you to offer, mate, but I think I'm good."
“You’re too revealing! Like, I get it, you like being a bit showy, but its too much! What will happen of you- ah forget it, just cover up a bit, will ya?”
"Bit too eh..average, hehe," he said with a weak grin.
