Does your OC need a job? Good news, we're hiring!
In this game, the first person will post IC as a character who is looking to hire someone to do a job. Maybe they're looking for someone to help out at the business they own or work for, someone to join their band, a supervillain's sidekick, a maid or personal chef? Maybe they're just looking to hire someone to babysit, mow their lawn, do their taxes, or hide a body. You know, normal things. The sky's the limit; you can have your OC look to hire anyone for any reason whatsoever.
The next person will answer the interviewer IC, explaining why they're the OC for the job, and then describe the job they need someone to do. Sound simple enough?
Rules:
I'll start with this guy. "I have a problem with a giant robot menacing the TV studio I work at, so I need to hire some... kind of security to deal with this guy. Tell me why you're the person for this job."
"Pffshhst, course I can take some metal box of gears, I've been trained for years in street fighting and in various multiple martial arts. Fighting and protecting's just been my way of life, as long as the money's good."
"Now, I'm looking for some sort of animal trainer or tamer, someone who can get a pesky neighborhood mutt from bothering me. Anyone you know?"
"Of course, dear. I am not a trainer or handler but I'm sure I can talk to this dog and see what I can do."
(she can communicate w/ animals)

"Ah, while I am here, is there someone here who is skilled with potions or recording in the way of writing? I have an awful lot I need to do, but I also need to write descriptions and the like on my latest potion recipes and I simply don't have the time to do them! I need a hand."
"I'm not skilled in potions, but I'm a cashier at a coffee shop so I have to remember A LOT of drinks and take down orders quickly. Not to mention I used to work at a library and that required so much writing to the fact I thought my hand was going to fall off. So, definitely, I would be willing to write down whatever you would need me to. Just give me a call and I'll help right away, alright?"

"Both my boyfriend and I have been very busy with our jobs and haven't had time to take care of our yard. Would anyone be willing to cut the grass and trim the trees and bushes? I know manual labor isn't any fun, but I've looked at our schedules and it doesn't look like we have any time at all. Please, would anyone be willing? We will pay in cash, and some food and drinks too!"
"Ah, I vould love to! I am no stranger to manual labour, and have mowed down many plants during my farming time. I'm willing to work!"

"You see, I have to go to east Russia to visit some relatives. So, I need someone who can manage my farm while I am gone. The usual feeding the chickens and checking up on the plants. I can pay in money or in a portion of harvest for your hard work! How about it?"
"Farm work? I'd be up for that! Watering plants and taking care of poultry can't be that hard. I do that all the time in my virtual farm! But I suspect there's no real difference between managing stamina in real life as opposed to the pixelated one. It'll be fine, just hand me over a watering can and I'll get started right away!"

"I've got a little plush infestation problem at home, it appears these otherwise fluffy and absolutely adorable critters decided to re-animate themselves and chew away on my furniture! Is there anyone skilled in magic who could perhaps ... de-animate them? Or just get rid of them. I'm tired of having to replace chair legs every other day. It has gotten pretty expensive, too!"
"Ah, did you say, de-animate~? I think I might be able to help you with that~! You see, I am able to turn things to stone, so I believe that if you gave me a little time then I should be able to take care of your little problem~!" She bowed her head. "No payment necessary, i'd just be happy to assist~! I'll even take the statues off of your hands, if you would prefer~?"
"Now then... what i'm looking for isn't anything too special. All I desire is someone who is willing to keep me company~! In return, I will give you a warm, loving home to call your own~!" She smiled warmly, a glimmer twinkling within her sapphire gaze. "You just need to stay with me, forever and ever~! That's not too much to ask, is it~?"
"Lady, don't you worry because I'll see to it personally that that house gets cleared out," he says with a wink. "I'll be sure to pick up the check from your supervisor! Who should I expect? Someone, uh, someone older? How much older we talkin' here?"
"Is anyone good at forgery? Enough to get me a passable passport and an ID? Money is no concern. Asking for a friend."
"I think I have a few tricks up my sleeve," M cooed, staring Jackson down with a confident, but otherwise unreadable, expression. "It's not exactly forgery, and it will take some time and strategizing, but I'll get the job done easy." Her voice pulled at her words with a certain sweet-sticky tone like molasses, oozing out every syllable with gooey southern charm. She never broke eye contact, not even to blink, and held him at her full attention; which she hoped would be enough to keep his eyes on her. Right where she wanted them.
"My old mage quit just a few weeks ago, and I have, well, minimal knowledge when it comes to that type of thing. If anyone knows their way around spells and potions, and is looking to make some cash on the side, I'll be expecting you."
"Yes, I suppose I could handle that for you. Although the spells and potions I excel in are ones that most consider... unsavory. But, as they say, beggars can't be choosers. I'm ready whenever you need me."
"I might be a witch, but I don't have the magic it takes to bring to heel powerful beasts and demons. Unfortunately, the nearby shop that sells ingredients from them has recently closed down for business so I'm out of the materials I need! I need somebody who can easily take down a dragon or a powerful demon or three. We can discuss details further if you think you've got what it takes."
"certainly~ i'd be happy to help a fellow magician in their work. My own power should be sufficient to accomplish your task. As for payment, perhaps a trade for a potion or two."
"I've been looking for a certain magical item, unfortunately i haven't been able to procure it myself.... my time just doesnt allow it. I'm seeking someone who might be able to scour the planar markets to find a locket that can hold visions of memories. it should be called a "forget-me-never necklace."
"I suppose I could help set up some security cameras, although I feel that would be useless against a demon."
"My work is starting to pile up on me. I think I'll take a few days off, however, I can't do so easily. Is there anyone with sufficient shapeshifting abilities that would be able to take my place for three days? All you'd need to do is sit in my office during those days. No work needs to be done. You'll be paid for every day you're there."
