OK, this is hard to word, but the idea of this thread is for all those little questions you want a second opinion on, the kind of thing you might ask a friend. We're all friends here, aren't we? c: For example:
- "What should I name my character's sword?" (Note that there's already a thread for naming characters)
- "What kind of familiar should my character have?"
- "I can't decide whether my character should be a bounty hunter or a pirate, what do you think?"
- "I'm redesigning my character; do you think they would look better in green or red?"
- "My character's world is at war with monstrous bugs. Do you think wasp monsters or cockroach monsters would be scarier?"
- "Does [backstory excerpt] make sense to you?"
Make sense? This isn't the place for huge questions ("please critique my entire centuries-spanning multiverse"), though you can ask a simple question and invite people to talk to you in private about that sort of thing if they're interested.

Yo, I got a rough outline for this character, but he needs more to him I feel, including an appearance... Is there anything missing you feel?
Expand on the struggles he's facing + the people in his life and how they influence him! I'd also suggest drafting a character arc if he doesn't have one already, or add one other pivotal figure (e.g. a fellow priest who disagrees with his Satanist practices) in his backstory to bounce his personality off of and add some spicy conflict into his story.
What could be the turning point for Chira, who's determined to never sacrifice herself or let others hold her back due to her family's overwhelming influence in her past life, to agree to help or affiliate with North's FMNetwork?
For backstory ideas Excelsior could have been taught and almost glorified to beleive that he is better than the rest of the population. Though was also taught to be polite by another character in his backstory. Once had to save a person from a monster of sorts? Earning him great praise and the want/need to earn praise again, lost an eye? Possibly could have been inspired by a theatric villain in his kingdom. His family could also be of angel descent

When thinking in terms of ooo edgy xXemoXx rawr X3 I think fallen goddess is a lot more applicable. Other things in a similar vein that I think could work for her could be like homicidal toy brought to life or a living nightmare, I was also fond of maneaters/cannibals when I was in my edgy phase so that's definitely an option.
I just think leaning into the creepiness of clowns thats already present might help, especially since you don't have to try and figure out some ideal color palette to go with her current look (Though deep purples would look good if you go with the fallen goddess look)
Is the personality questionnaire a good way to represent character or should I just give in and add a personality blurb onto the profile?
I think it's awesome! Not only giving a great bit of info but also demonstrating how he might respond to the questions. In fact, if my bios weren't based off Wiki's animal classification, I'd totally use that idea too! I think it would look nice with some toggle spoilers.

I've been working on this girl for a while now, and I can't seem to decide what kind of magic to give her! My first dragsona's magic was associated with storms. She could conduct electricity and control wind and stuff, but she kinda became her own personality, so I gave her a good story and I let her be herself.
This new sona is so perfect, and while I still really love storms and windiness, I don't want to use the same abilities as my old girl, she's already pretty jealous.
Rankei Perhaps they could be a group of casters? Friends that worked together in a "Wizard's college" of sorts and then were tasked with a mission for their graduation. Something goes wrong, perhaps there was an 8th student who needed to do the mission with them and messed it up. All the 7 know is that the wizards in charge sent them into the room, and they woke up in the infirmary. They were promptly kicked out, and the ramifications of the mistake rang throughout the world. Whatever went wrong went SERIOUSLY wrong. A few weeks later, the Wizard's college vanishes. No one in the world besides the 8 students who were there that day remember the college ever being there. Faced with this drastic change in their environment, the 7 friends try to bring the college back and fix their mistakes.
Idk, just spit-balling an idea. Basically mysterious #8 was a villain, and tries to stop them from bringing the college back. Maybe they are greedy, and want to make their own college? Or perhaps they serve something evil and summoned something on that day.

I tried to redesign her to be more cohesive, but she is still... her colors clash drastically and they are ugly. Any suggestions?

Here are a few ideas! I tried getting rid of the colors that clash. I'd suggest dulling down the bright pink and the bright green and use softer colors. Bright accents can be used as a contrast so the picture doesn't look boring. I also personally think that reddish or brownish colors would look nice aswell. Generally it helps to look at images you personally find good-looking and study how the colors work there and/or read a bit into color theory.

I'd love some outfit suggestions for this guy! He's a calm, down-to earth dude who leads an underground organiation similar to the mafia but I don't want him just sitting around in "Godfather" type clothing all day, ya feel me? A few ideas for everyday clothing and/or his villain outfit would help a lot since I'm really bad at outfit design.
