Thomas Steel thegrumpydruid

Thomas was baffled... He has dodged many bullets in his life, and outdrew any foes, but the fact someone with a knife defeated him?! He was beyond humiliated. He clutched his bleeding stomach, the red blood soaking through his already red shirt. He scowls, drawing his gun and pointing it at the man, "Fully loaded, bugger off and leave me to bleed out before I riddle ya with bullets to join me."

Esoterin Rorichi

"Who could ever thought an old man would defeat an angel.." Esoterin chuckled, and a grimace of pain distorted the girl's beautiful face. Not like she would die only because she had caught a bullet or two with her body, she was an angel after all! But it still was extremely painful...especially to laugh..."Oh geez, now I need to buy a new dress!" She looked at her ripped dress covered in blood splatters and sighed upsetly. The regeneration had started already, but Esoterin wasn't the most patient one, so she used a spell to heal her wounds and take the bullets out of her somache. So unfortunate, a healing spell couldn't fix her pretty dress. Gosh, everything could be completely different if this old man didn't rip her dress with his nasty bullets, it was the moment when she lost all her fighty mood and started thinking only about the money she needed to buy a new dress, and that was a whole lot! Not to mention she wanted to buy a new lipstick, too... "Well, I must give you credit for being so ducking good with these lil cute things you're holding! I took 3 bullets out of my poor little stomache, not to mention those which went through the body...and my pretty dress..." She sobbed dramatically. "Oh we really should fight somday again! I'm so, so offended that you managed to defeat me even though you are just a regular human, you know!" the angel exclaimed. "Oh man, I used too much of my energy~ Now i feel so sle-" Esoterin didn't even finish her sentence as she fainted..or felt asleep?

Robi Tribal CaptainRobi

{hoooo boy!}

"What do you mean you're here to beat me up?! All I do is shoot bad guys! Is this what people call mercernary work bad nowadays? Taboo in your fucking world! Who do you think you are, God's police?! I'll show ya!" Robi barked.

He drew his gun out to open fire on Eso but strangely it hasn't worked on her. He then begins using his heavy weapons, surely the railgun to the head can fall her, not that either. Without a response, he was abused by her power, his own tech unable to bester someone who came from God himself.

Within minutes, his clothes were charred and burned, lying there unconcious.

The next day, he was crying, it turned out to be his brother, whom happened to have been murdered. Unfortunately you happen to be in the area when it happened and was witnessed near the crime. He turns and gives you this awful glare, knowing too well that revenge was dead set in his eyes.

"You!! Yeah, you! You did this to my brother! I'll fucking end you right here!! Make you suffer the same way he had!" He barked and he draws his weapon, poised for his target to make their next move.

Virelen 📜 LiminalsSpace

Virelen collapsed on his side after a final fatal blow from the holy weapon the child before him was holding. He curled up in a ball in the grass and covered his wounds with his tails, accepting his fate. "I...knew this was going to happen eventually." His voice was fading and sounded scratchy and pained. "I just never guessed it'd be someone like you."  He could fight back, it wouldn't be hard fighting a child, but he would feel wrong hurting someone so seemingly innocent and young. The glowing golden sword the girl was holding should've been in safe hands, but apparently this "Doo" child was known for stealing and doing anything for money. Someone who wanted to get revenge on Virelen must have gotten the location of the weapon and hired her to do their dirty work for them. "Whoever hired you to do this- this-to me- It's really not worth any amount of money, you know. Nothing's going to be able to undo this. I don't blame you, though. you're just a child doing what you can to survive. I know how it is in this world." He put his head on the ground and closed his eyes. He tried to speak one last sentence to Doo but his words became unintelligible and too quiet to hear, and his tails went limp. The sky around the two went suddenly dark red for a few seconds then back to bright blue. Doo would have no idea of the consequences of her actions until she went to the nearest town. Virelen was right: no amount of money could undo the consequences of her actions that day.

 Tomoko Storm_Clouds

Of course, Tomoko was called to document another supernatural being. The person wanting the supernatural occurrences to be documented told Tomoko that his friend Ammerie shouldn't come, as it was a one man job. Seemed reasonable enough to Tomoko, even though he felt a bit uneasy that it was to take place in the night.

In an illusionist state where no human could see his demonic features, he wandered closer and closer to where the hirer said the supernatural creature was. Tomoko didn't like how the town become forest, into the deep woods. Oh, he did not like that at all.

Soon, though, he came upon the place. Stalking the area in the trees, Tomoko could just see a young man, camping out. Tomoko didn't understand. Why was it his task to write things about just a normal human?

As if the man could sense his presence, their head snapped up to the tree Tomoko was in. It was obvious they had something on their mind, because their face looked absolutely furious. Suddenly, Tomoko could see who they really were. Not a human, but something far worse.

It was at that moment that Tomoko decide it was time to haul back to town. But before he could make a move, the human- no, whatever it was- burst into black flames. This obviously startled Tomoko, making the tree shake and providing evidence that someone was really there.

The human, now a fearsome wendigo,  gripped the tree, shaking it so hard that the trunk started to break and splinter. Tomoko fell off the branch he was on, only nearly stopping himself with his levitation. Now was the time for the evasive action.

Tomoko summoned his fire whip, and took a shot at the monstrosity. Even as it hit the wendigo and caused one of the cadavers on its body to lose its face in the process, the abomination didn't even flinch. Tomoko started to sweat bullets. This wasn't the typical monster Tomoko faced off.

The wendigo swiveled it's tail, and Tomoko couldn't dodge in time. He was flung aside into a tree as he heard his bones snap in unison from the tremendous force.as he lay there on the ground, he felt extreme spin and was almost unable to breathe. A punctured lung, perhaps? The breath knocked out of him?

Tomoko focused on the dark blood seeping out of him from the puncture wounds. Shoot, that purplish red substance was probably poison. As Tomoko tried to focus on the black flames now engulfing the wendigo again instead of the blinding pain of his broken bones and the poison seeping through his system, he reached down to his waist and took out the Kolibri gun he had on him. It wasn't powerful, but it would do.

As it took the form of a human again and collapsed, Tomoko saw the mark of a whip. Guess that attack of his did do something. Tomoko lifted the gun up to level, glad that he had it loaded beforehand. As the "person" got up to face Tomoko, he fired. The bullet missed, the bullet lodging itself in a near tree. With all Tomoko's energy spend, he collapsed.

He personally counted his blessings that he was going to die before they could do anything more to him. As the supposed supernatural being came closer, he closed his eyes, letting himself go to the darkness of death.

 Katharos (OLD) colorful

Savior of Humanity. Although that's what this Nathair man called himself, he was badly hurt by him. For what reason could a savior hurt a fellow man? Katharos wasn't normal, he had the power to begin a revelation, which led him to become a potential threat to mankind. Despite that, Katharos tried to smooth it over by talking to Nathair, though it seems like he bought none of what he is trying to say. Persuade humans by understanding the meaning of salvation, and think that they will really believe it with his power? An impression of the overthinking Nathair seeming insulted about Katharos' naive words landed.

Putting these two together is like putting a rat into a snake's cage. A rat, normally easy to kill, could be a big threat to the snake. A rat isn't hesitant to tear snakes, or even people, to shreds once it gets desperate. Katharos never wanted to fight Nathair, but he would probably reach the same conclusion as him if they took time together too long. Like rats, Katharos solely survives on hope.

His realization, oh so late, flashed by his mind; he has done it.  It wasn't just his pride that felt trampled over for him; his promises,  his experiences, and his entire life as a human named Katharos felt like a waste, unable to understand what his father was trying to reach after their duel on his 18th birthday. He was fooled by Nathair's sweet words of salvation as soon as he heard them events prior this, only to know that Katharos was a man who was enjoying the view of the flower garden, not knowing he is trampling on the flowers.

After the unfazed so-called Savior of Humanity left, Katharos was on a spiral of thoughts, having this very incident engraved on his heart and mind. He couldn't even say a word, he could only go as far as opening his mouth slightly and mutter gibberish as a result from the shock he had.

Tsuko celestiials

lmao just gonna continue the theme of musical battles :^)

"..."

Tsuko didn't know how he managed to lose this match. Everything seemed to be in his advantage, but alas, life does have its ways of working. He wasn't disappointed however, that was too strong of a word; to describe his mood as confused would be more accurate. As a piano tsukumogami, wouldn't he know more about playing the piano? Apparently Tsuko overestimated his abilties and he admitted that he was a bit off key, but hey, he was an antique piano. They don't sound the same as modern pianos.

What were you expecting?

But anyways, he just sat there on the piano bench, and he didn't even look up to make eye contact with Ken. "Hmmph, am I really that bad?" Tsuko muttered to himself.

Maybe Tsuko should just get more practice.

for the person below you don't have to continue that theme haha
