With the new literature update, it's time for a new forum game! Simply browse through the user above you's 'library' and link to your favourite of their works with a reason explaining why it was the one you liked the most!

Some simple rules:

1. Must have at least three works in your library to participate
2. Write more than a sentence about the work you like - put some thought into it!
3. Wait two posts before you post again to let some others get a chance

I'll start! :D

Ahh this is cool! I really likeĀ Taking Matters Into His Own Hands! It was pretty dark and kind of sad. It also makes you very curious about the events that are occurring! It's one of the few works inspired by Tokyo Ghoul that I actually like. I'd totally read any other parts you'd choose to add to the story!

Oh I love this idea, haha.

My favorite of yours is "I Wish". It's short but I find it really affecting, probably especially because you didn't need many words to do it. You describe Rie's feelings so vividly, his isolation and confused feelings, wishing for the sort of warmth and companionship from Bitter that he sees in the people around him, and feeling the heartache of knowing that she's capable of being the loving sort of person he longs for when she wants to be.Ā

It's an honest depiction of an abusive relationship without being hammy or melodramatic: it's just a little snapshot of Rie's life, not judging, just painting a scene. And that final line, "I guess it didn't matter," gets across this sense of quiet resignation so well.

Honestly I love "Great Mottled Beast" I'm an absolute sucker for romantic things... I love the 'slice of life' kinda thing. The romance between them is so adorable, but so not cliched or anything... It's perfect, quite normal and just... sweet. *squees* You set the mood perfectly, I can see the setting clearly, honestly felt like I was there.

Blood On My Name is probably my favorite piece of yours so far! It's a good depiction of a tense encounter and I think it has a lot of potential! It was also a pretty stark contrast to the image of Joeseph I had built up in my head after reading 'A Matter Of Faith'. Not knowing much about your characters, this definitely got me interested in finding out a little more about the Dr!Ā

I really liked Becoming Kimiko! It's a very powerful piece that introduces the same character, but with a completely different perspective on things. Kim's fears are relatable - your writing makesĀ it relatable. I could feel her panic and her confusion, her bitterness and sadness. My favorite part was when she started deciding on the new personality. There's just something about how she became the person she wanted to be personality-wise by leaving her past behind and having a new life, I think it's very beautiful.
The flow in your words is also very nice and paints vivid imagery! It's very expressive and makes it easy for me to practically step into that world and observe what's happening rather than reading.

I'm not very familiar with Pern, but I loved "Those Who Are Taken." You write so vividly: I could picture everything that was happening despite not knowing the setting: the wild green lake, the dim and foreboding caverns. I could really feel the fear of the girls and the apprehension and wonderment of Mellita. Her voice is a perfect companion to this scene, letting the reader experience everything along with her as she takes in their situation, and the scene has this sense of emotional progression as they physically make their way through the tunnel that makes me wonder what's waiting for them in the locked room.

YunaNoire

In general lot of your pieces are nice, simple and read very well! You get a lot of mileage out of just a few words I feel and Open House is a particularly good example of that I feel! You effectively set up Ira's emotional state in a realistic and sympathetic way. You immediately get that he's just, not having a good day. It's not for any particular reason, he's just not doing too good, which is very relatable. This makes his encounter with the little girl all the more heartwarming! Sometimes the smallest things can help you through a rough day and that's the sort of thing i'd imagine would really help.

@Yuna_Animatus ur writing is really good and it made this a super hard decision to make... tho i really liked battle against a true hero - it was short, sweet, and left me wanting to read more! i could easily visualise what was happening which is usually really difficult for me in action-like scenes as i find it difficult to focus, but the way u write/ur choice of wording makes it easy for me to follow along w/ the story and enjoy what i'm reading!

it's funny, as benjamine became more confident in her abilities, i myself almost felt like i got pumped up w/ adrenaline w her haha - i love when stories have the ability to put u into the action too if that makes sense, it makes them really enjoyable :D

AlleycatIronyĀ

Muffin Break because of the last part xD I love how tense it is and you can really feel the anger through the characters. That confrontation could easily be a memorable scene if it was animated !

YunaNoire

@Sevenlole

I love a lot of your writing! It's very easy to read and a lot of your stuff is almost like poetry. I also loveĀ the pun stuff, it's just so perfect.

Alice is definitely my favorite though. I love Alice's insults, their so hard hitting and absolutely iconic. "My Cleavage Is Bigger Than Your Future!" is just such a perfect line that it makes me smile every time I read it. The rest of them are just so good too and it really makes me love Alice even more than I already did!

Gosh, honestly? I think I'd have to go with Everyday's a Smile. Like, I love just about all of your stories. You have this incredible ability to capture a character's voice and give them the perfect setting. Everyday's a Smile was the first literature I've ever commissioned, and it featured my mascot, my most prized boi, and you breathed lifeĀ into him. You got his playful nature down to a T and his obliviousness to the pain he was causing. I could just PICTURE that song playing while he's walking past all the bodies.

I love all your writing, but that one's got the most sentimental value to me. ;w;
