Rostch's interest in the medical field started when she was a child. She would try to 'operate' her dolls and often pretended her toys were patients in need of care. 

Val has this one eyed street cat that follows him and deems him as her friend. She will often follow him silently if he is hunting or going to feed. Sometimes she watches him feed and has decided he is a good hunter. Sometimes she brings him still squirming mice and rats because she thinks he looks hungry.
She also just sits near him if he's alone and she thinks it's safe (the coven does not like the flea bag.)
It's probably one of the only bonds with another creature he's had where it isn't just sticking with him to get something.
