ABOUT

I haven't seen a game like this and I think it will be really fun, especially for the writers out there. This game is to focus on creating and developing a new character using only writing (no art!). Let our imagination explore and develop as we develop a character from scratch! Let's get started!

THE RULES (MUST READ)

1. By claiming, you are accepting all of the rules listed.

2. You cannot use a character generator. It must be your own writing.

3. A minimum of 300 words is required for a character description.

4. You must finish your claim within a month (deadlines can be extended by contacting me or the person you are writing for).

5. You cannot claim another slot until you have finished your current slot.

6. Please wait a minimum of 3 posts before claiming another slot.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Post a reply to this thread claiming the person above you. The person above you is the person who will be receiving your character.

2. Also in your reply, fill out the following form so that the next person takes your preferences into account when creating your character. YOU CANNOT SPECIFY CHARACTER TRAITS SUCH AS APPEARANCE, PERSONALITY, ETC. That decision will be up to the person writing your character.

- Character Type (Human/Humanoid/Anthro/Feral):

- Gender:

- Age Range:

- Theme (Fantasy, Dystopia, Modern, etc):

3. Create the character for your claimed slot! Be as descriptive as possible! Let your creative juices flow!

The following information must be included in your writing. You may add whatever you like to the character but this information is a must. Remember, all character descriptions must have at least 300 words! More is heavily encouraged! Put effort into your creation!

- Name

- Age

- Appearance

- Personality

(If you need help developing a character, refer to this super helpful forum!)

Depending on how the game turns out, some rules may need to be adjusted. Users will be banned for not following the rules.

Omg what have I done.

Lewis Cross
Male ~ Human ~ 20

Lewis is a tall and stronger looking man, defiantly not a body builder but also looks like he could do a fair bit of damage if he wanted to.  He has blonde hair long enough to reach his ears and it covers his face somewhat.  He doesn't seem to care very much for keeping it well brushed.  He wears a cloak and almost always has the hood up and casting a shadow over his face.  He has a long scar over one eye that has a strange unnatural purple color to it.  The scarred eye is a light purple color and is always squinted somewhat.  It has a very light glow to it and is noticeable in the dark.  However in a lit up place or even a dimly lit place it isn't noticeable.  His uninjured eye is brown.  Because of the injury his vision is not the best and its a bit blurry and unfocused in his injured eye.

Lewis lived a completely normal life apart from having an extremely religious family.  Although that didn't really affect him that much until he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Caught in the middle of a dangerous fight between two rather strange individuals, he was hit and knocked out.  When he came to again he was injured, his vision was blurry and he noticed the change of eye color.  He also had a new ability.  Lewis can create a thick purple tinted mist that is very explosive and flammable and he is able to set it ablaze.  However he must be careful as he is not immune to the explosion and can harm himself.  While using this ability his injured eye seems to spark somewhat.  He did not understand how or why this happened, all he knew for sure is that his family saw it as demonic and kicked him out because of it.

He is bitter and annoyed, pessimistic and vengeful.  He hates what has happened to him and feels like he did not deserve it.  He has made it his life goal to find those people from before and find out what happened and more importantly, get revenge.

He had been overall a pretty nice person, although a bit quiet and reserved.  However know he is a bit more pushy and easier to annoy.  He won't go out of his way to hurt someone unless he feels like it is deserved.  He can be a bit selfish at times but won't throw someone under the bus if he thinks they are a good person.  But if he doesn't know them or doesn't like them he probably will.  He is not very loyal and is a lone wolf, finding it much easier to work on his own.  He is not one to follow orders nor is he one to give them.  In a group he will do his own thing and mostly ignore others unless they can make his job easier in some way.

Even though he is angry at his family for shunning him he still cares about them and loves them.  He sometimes will go to check on them but will make sure they don't know about it.  Stalking? Maybe, but he just wants to make sure they are safe.

- Character Type: Appears human.  Doesn't have to actually be human, just looks like one.

- Gender: Male

- Age Range: 18 -25

- Theme:  Dystopia (I like stories that have a really controlling government but people see it as normal)

RustHeart I managed to finish the claim! I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to finish it. I hadn't been active lately ;w;

(I hope this is alright! :'D)

Matthew, 23, Vampire (but looks like a human),

He built a resistance against the government after exposing them for their corruption. He lurks in the darkness by daylight but comes out at night to protest, due to his vampirism he can only stay in the dark. He makes due with this by watching in the background, collecting information against the government. He has a thirst for blood, but he hides it from humans by drinking animal blood instead.

He is wise and quite smart, but he can be very blunt and rude. He doesn’t get much sleep, so he’s usually tired and grumpy a lot. He does however have a soft spot for history and has a need to protect the people despite his grump persona. He is quite secretive, he hides secrets a lot of the time.

He is about 6’0”, has long light blonde hair, pale skin, and likes to dress very formally. He likes dressing in old victorian era outfits but will sometimes wear more “modernized” suits and jackets.

Some close people with him can say that he is a nice person, he just needs some time to sleep maybe. He stays up to help a lot of the citizens realize the corruption of the government.

He used to work for the government until he saw some secret information nobody but a few selected few were allowed to see, making him realize how terrible the government was. He tries hiding this secret from the people he loves in fear of them feeling betrayed, or emotional. He hopes that nobody finds out.

He used to be a nice guy before he found out this government secret and rebelled, his friends watched him grow more and more tired and stressed from the thing he loves doing best, protecting the people. Some people say that he should also protect himself too.

Some stuff I'd like to have:

- Character Type: Human

- Gender: Gender doesn't matter to me uwu

- Age Range: I'm really fine with 18-45

- Theme: Fantasy, please! ^^

Ok, took me a minute and a half to finish this, then I lost the forum(woops) but I hope you enjoy! syskey

Amelia had a normal life. Wake up, get dressed, check the traps, make breakfast, eat, look after the Children, and then go to school. She didn't know anything was different about her life. In middle school she realized she was different, but it never bothered her. Amelia just stopped talking about Them. When she turned 20 her parents told her the truth.

The Children weren't human. They were gods, demons, ghosts. They were the life in our lungs and the end of our existence. To wake them is to unleash chaos. She dedicated her entire life to keeping them complacent in their slumber.

"Where's my Mommy?"

Amelia clutched the needle and continued her work. The greying hair was a facade, this was a terrible being. Remember that. Soon the figure on the cot was out again. The stirring behind her was a reminder. There were other children, she must tend to them.

"Auntie Belen?"

Amelia didn't flinch at her mother's name. This one had always tried to use it against her mother, if she let it know she wasn't her mother it would attack. She must keep it here. Must administer the medicine.

One by one, the twenty nine "children" were woken, and put back to sleep with sedatives. One by one, she checked their vitals and changed out the bags. She was thirty two today, but there was no celebration. She knew the truth. "Child" thirty had died days ago. The last time a "child" died her parents went to Disney World with her. She was 17 when it happened. The trust in the small girl's eyes, the way she had held tightly to Amelia's hand and thanked her for helping her find her mama. The smell of the chemicals, and the crying. Needles flashing, the delusions and paranoia in her parents' eyes. The fear in the girl's.

Amelia glanced at the girl, much larger now. Number 12. Her hair long, face free of laugh lines or anything someone of her age would have just started to gain. Number 12's original clothing tucked into a vacuum sealed bag. Amelia's own face was stern, her brown hair tucked neatly into a bun. She wore a suit and skirt with low heels, very well-put together. The difference was not lost on Amelia. There was a despair when she looked from 12 to 30, and she knew something was going to happen again. She couldn't stop it now, couldn't undo what had been done. She could only make sure they went to the next life calmly and painlessly, when the time came.

Name: Acerola Black

Age: 26

Sexuality: Asexual

Romantic orientation: Panromantic

Occupation: Lawyer (Defense Attorney)

Appearance: Mid-dark skin. Almost always suited in a nice, lavender color. Is 5'3".

Personality: Wants a better future for everyone. Also, is justice-seeking, and very hopeful for the future.

Has two kids who she adores and is always doting on. However, she isn't married and is looking for a partner in her free time.

Acerola defends anyone who is accused of a crime, who she believes could be innocent. Born to one of the luckier families with close ties to the government, she is rather trusted by both the downtrodden and the higher-class. As the dystopia of the Protected City is trying to stabilize itself as getting back to a democracy, she's trying to help with all the recovery efforts she can. Just recently was the last leader overthrown and their child placed in office, and they are doing a much better job than the former leader... And so she became not just a fighter for better things in this world, but a lawyer to help defend those who have been jailed unfairly by the former leader, and any of the current leader's forces who still support the old leader. She is also helping to establish laws, even though she isn't a lawmaker. As she is trusted by the government, and the government is still rather shaky, she helps as much as possible.

With her children, she is very protective of them, yet still tries to let them explore for themselves. They've been through a lot, so she does worry about their mental well-being very often. She just wants the best, and while the school system is being fixed, she is trying to teach them herself, whilst doing her job. Her children sit in the gallery of the makeshift courtroom very often, because there's still no childcare in place.

Her ideal partner is one that is loving, and can discuss the troubles of the now and try to work towards something better, and one that her kids like as well.
