"This big garden is nice, but it's a bit... wild and empty. I'm sure it will look better if I pull weeds and add some pretty flowers instead! :)"Â
UPDATE: as of 17 June, this game is closed, in light of stock photo crediting issues and also the fact that it has been very time-consuming to maintain. To everyone who helped create this monstrosity lovely living space, thank you, and thank you for the great art that it has spawned, too! More about it in this post
A game concept that I thought might be fun. Time to put the "house" in Toyhouse??
The House
To start, there's a tiny and rather disappointing house in the middle of the green. Nothing's in it yet; the walls and floors are bare, the grounds are covered in weeds, and it has the bare minimum of facilities.
Your OCs are looking to move into this house. but it's obviously not up to their standards! Before they do, they can make some change to it, big or small. They might build a new room, plant a hedge, take down someone else's ugly decor, or knock a hole in the wall (with their fist!) because they want a better view from the living room. It's all the same house, so you can also make adjustments to others' changes. Sky's the limit!
How to play
- Claim to prevent ninjaing.
- Respond IC and say what your OC does to the house.
- IC commentary is not necessary, but would be fun. And that's it!
Rules
- You can either make changes in up to two rooms, or add a room and furnish it.
- Wait 2 posts before posting again.
- Interacting with and building on others' additions is fun, but try to avoid completely eliminating someone else's addition immediately after.
- SFW additions only!

Art of our humble abode
Belle takes a peek inside the living room and decides to replace the flooring. She brings out several bags of sand before dumping it all on the ground. There, nice and warm just like from the beach!
Ayaka strolls in through the front door—and almost trips as her foot sinks in the sand. "Whoaaaa! I'm loving the sea theme, but this place seriously needs some railings on the walls. Like the kind they have in ballet studios!"
She looked at the garden for awhile before a few ideas ran through her mind, "A few trees and a little pond would be a nice addition here."
Inkas looked around the Bath for a while, then huffed. "I guess no one here thought about How we would use this without a shower! Common Sense would be start with things like that..." They said, crossing the arms. "We should put a shower here, for sure."
The prince went outside to the garden of the house, and said to himself, "The garden is really peaceful, but it should look a lot better with a fountain installed to it." The prince installs a fountain to the garden, and says, "There. I think people would love a fountain."
"there doesn't seem to be much to eat around here... i think i'll plant some vegetables in the garden for everyone!"
"No couches or beds?! Where would I sleep?" Hypo orders two beds, one for each bedroom, and places them by the wall.
'' I need a cupcake making station in the kitchen , No house is complete without one '' *starts worrying about where she will make and decorate her cupcakes*
Hermes essentially makes his cat step in paint, and then sics her onto the porch. (ooc: wow hermes you lil shit)
"Hehehe... y'know, the porch looked kind of a bit boring, so I had to do it..." he joked as Willow spread paint over the porch floor.
