Around April I posted a thread asking if anyone could do a custom of my stardew valley character. Thyouo posted their art examples and seeing as I really liked what I saw, I reached out to them.
We discussed the details and I paid for the custom on April 21st 2019 as shown by the invoice down below.
However after three months of radio silence I was beginning to get worried, so sent I message asking for an update. At first we discussed me getting a refund, but at Thyouo's suggestion, I opted for them to finish my custom instead
That was the last I heard from Thyouo. I've tried reaching out by sending them a message on toyhouse and via email but I haven't got any response.
At this point there's nothing I can really do. I missed the window to do a paypal chargeback because it's been 7 months and it looks like Thyouo is dead on all of their accounts. All I can do is warn other people in case Thyouo pops up again.
AzuelZorro102 no after the chargeback windows clears a persons pretty much screwed OTL unless im missing something. i might be able to go to my bank but idk
AzuelZorro102 yeah it is :/ but someone did reach out to me explaining that my bank allows chargebacks up to 2 years, so i think im gonna go ahead and get into contact with them.
kokohearts yeah she posted in my thread seeking commission, which is how i got into this mess OTL. im glad you didnt take them up on their offer, their art is really nice but considering i didnt get my commission, not really worth it. i tried getting in touch with them through insta but so far no response -_-
I knew the name sounded familiar... She was supossed to draw art of two of my characters for a character design of mine. After a wip (which I had to prod greatly for), she completely dropped off the face of the planet. She had read my messages but ghosted me. I think I just took the characters off hold last month since there weren't any replies and I had spent months waiting.
They're completely unreliable.

SleepingThunder sad to see im not the only one they ghosted :/ im glad you at least still have the characters and didnt send them before the trade was completed, otherwise you might have no seen them again. yeah they pretty much are gone, even messaging them on insta has proved to do nothing
Rikki yeah i suppose, its just super frustrating to see them online and active while refusing to contact me despite my efforts to reach out, which i should have to do in the first place.
yeah i was there on the trello for a couple months until they decided to wipe their trello to do list for no reason. i dont remember if there were other people on their or not but i they did utilize for a little bit, theyre probably trying to cover their tracks
