General Thread for PSAs

Hello!

8/9: New PSA added.

5/14: 2 new PSAs added.

4/8: New PSA posted and additional information on Squidribs added to relevant PSA.

It was suggested that there should perhaps be a general thread for PSAs which is a fine idea. A place that links to other PSAs and keep things organized.
You can link your threads/PSAs/etc, and I'll add them to the posts. :D
Please Note: I can only accept public PSAs. Anon PSAs are too much of a risk to accept, as they can be open to slander.

Things That Count for PSAs!
-Scams
-Illegally chargebacked (you did a commission, but person claims you never did, for instance)
-Being shifty on doing owed things (taking months on an icon for example, lack of contact or updates, etc)
-Tracing and profiting off of it...
-Etc...

Things That Don't Count!
-Someone has better art than you
-Rude behavior
-Subjective issues
-Dog ate your homework

Obviously, this is just the basic frame work. Each case is different. For instance, someone could go around harassing artists for art and customs, or for people to give up their adopts and whatnot, and that could almost certainly be considered for a PSA...

Of course, it would be great if no more PSAs occur, but in the case they do, I support people posting them because they keep the community safe and will link to them in this general thread. owo/

There'll be two posts, one for PSAs and one for resolved cases! ^^

I discovered a person on tumblr who got banned from here for lying about their age (minor pretending to be an adult) and they’re trying to get another code and avoid the ban, should I make a little psa so people don’t give them a code? I do have evidence to support it as well.

Yikes can you PM the name? I'm curious.

Azrael There are many people who hand out codes on Tumblr, me being among them. I think it's PSA worthy since I believe quite a few people here are going to ask for their name (me being one of them).

The PSA has been made, you can now all see it there if you want. :)

HeavensDoor That's great news to hear! Hopefully, you can get everything that is owed (or at least to some extent a partial refund and the character)!

I commissioned someone for a plush of my sona for money on a pet site (95$ worth) they keep putting me on hold to make merch for conventions and to take more rl currency commissions.

I know that my commission is low priority because i paid with game currency, but they took the commission and keep putting me on the backburner. I think I've been put on hold 5 times, and the first time they dissapeared for so long that the stuff I was paying with was not worth the same amount so I had to change the payment.

Can I even ask for a partial refund? They've already bought materials and completed some parts of the plush, but it's been almost 2 years since I ordered it! I feel like at this point they don't even care about it and they've done so many other commissions during the span of me ordering it that I just feel really dissapointed.

Sorry if this is too much text i just don't know what to do...

Regarding their first disappearance: did they disappear before or after agreeing to your commission? If they disappeared after accepting your commission and taking payment, it's downright scummy of them to ask for more currency because of pet site economy inflation :/

Would you mind PMing me what site this took place on and who the user is? I engage in a lot of pet site art trades and would like to stay away from them if they're on one of the sites I frequent.

After agreeing to it, but the items hadn't been set yet since they wanted them after the comm was completed. I was supposed to pay with expensive items but they left with no warning for like 2-4 months in which the items went from being worth 40$ each to barely 20$ each.

I'll pm ya, I think they don't play on the site anymore but I'm not very active there anymore myself so I have no clue really.
