Edit [Dec 29]: formatting and added other screenshots that add further context to the harrassment I recieved due to this situation, as well as what seems like condescending posts towards me regarding the situation from puppy. I previously left these out bc I thought they didn't matter to the overall situation but others have recommended I post these so ppl can better understand why I was a bit upset with the response I recieved

Resolution [Dec 31]: puppy had someone else send me the refund on her behalf today [: [though for whatever reason they sent it through the business option so the moey is on hold and I had to pay a fee. still, I'm glad this is finally resolved] tysm for everyone who has given me advice on this situation ! it's the first time I've dealt with something like this & you've all been extremely helpful [:

on the advice of several others I am making a psa abt this user seeing as they have constantly ghosted me throughout their whole commissioning experience. overall, I don't recommend commissioning them at all.

I commissioned puppydroolzz (on instagram & toyhouse) back in august [august 1st] for two customs. they had me pay using an itunes gift card - what they charged was under the lower limit for the cards so I ended up paying 5$ over but I didn't really mind at the time.

they went silent after but was very active on their page, so about three weeks later [august 26th] I messaged them again asking if they had any updates. they replied saying they had finished them and was going to look through their files, I replied back asking them to let me know if they saw them in there.

again they went silent, I messaged back abt week later [aug 31] and they said they had definitely finished the characters but asked if they could tweak them a bit and then post them. they never actually sent the images but I agreed.

again, silence. throughout all of this they were very active on their page with adopts, drawings, and even taking more customs and commissions. they never posted the characters or sent them to me so a month later [sept 27] I messaged again asking to see the customs since they said they were already finished, but they ghosted the message.

at this point I decided to ask my friends for advice and they told me to confront the artist, so I did. they answered after I sent a message talking about possibly making a psa or seeking a refund if they weren't going to send the customs. they said they just didn't see my message which I understood since they have a lot of followers. they said they finished one of the customs but made it sound as if they didn't finish the other one as they previously stated so I sent the description of the custom again and waited for them to get back to me. still, they wouldn't send the image of the character they said they had finished.

about two months have passed since then [it's currently nov 27 when I'm making this post] and I haven't heard anything once again. I haven't recieved a single file or sketch from them showing an update or completed custom this entire time.

I messaged them again four days ago [november 23] and have been ghosted once again, this time they left me on read. it has been 3 months total since I placed the commission and I feel like I have been hella strung along. 

they posted on their story saying they were refunding some other people's commissions so I will be requesting a refund, though since they had me pay using itunes gift cards others have told me my money is probably lost. I definitely don't recommend commissioning this artist. if anyone else would like to leave their experiences with this artist I would be grateful as I am not sure whether they are doing this to others or not.

UPDATE: they made an instagram post & story post that came off to me as,, condescending & a bit petty lol saying 'some ppl can and can't understand that I do other things 😃'  and thanking their friend who was, at the time, harrassing me over this situation for their response [I don't have any evidence that this was abt their story posts harrassing me, it was most likely reffering to this story post https://sta.sh/022lo4u08liq though they did say this after their friend got nasty with me and they even reference the hostility in said story post ] and 'waiting longer than the commissioner' [I waited 3 months before I got a legit response btw] 'never making a callout on 2 platforms' and comparing the situation to toxicity they dealt with on amino. here's the screenshots so u can form ur own opinion on this part as I could be reading a bit far into it, but to me it sounded disrespectful: https://sta.sh/2miamte3ymh

UPDATE: puppy did confirm that they have not been finishing other people's comms as she posted that she was refunding several other ppl and closing regular comms

[hopefully the last] UPDATE: sooo puppy's friend got involved & blew up. they entered the situation when puppy had her make a post defending her character bc puppy did the same thing to them but they ended up getting their refund. [I don't think I said anything rude but I do have autism so idk, y'all can correct me if I'm wrong] etc,, dragging me for making a psa bc I need to get a life, being condescending bc I was worried about 25$ [which is funny since I recently lost my job due to covid so yah I'm worried about 25$ lol] saying karma was gonna get me etc... I made another post explaining further and they continued being disrespectful and nasty. obv not exactly puppy's fault but if any of u need to deal with a situation like this in the future they may come after you as well, considering they made it sound like they do this a lot & were proud of it. their @ on instagram is youm4ki if any of you want to block them. puppy asked them to apologise & as of yet they haven't. I would make a seperate psa but honestly it's not worth it lol I'll just put it at the bottom of this one. puppy wanted me to dm them near the beginning, I guess to defend her character ? & I'm glad I didn't seeing as if this was the stuff they said to me in public I'd hate to know what they would've said to me in private
