involves real money loss

i commissioned klee/dreamfes for a custom since on a bulletin of theirs a bit ago they had a $10 custom deal on their small cat base

i added them on discord and they asnwered after an hour or two? nd we discussed the design a little (not evn a full page’s worth of chats on mobile) and then it was full radio silence ive seen them change their pfp so i KNOW theve been on discord

i messaged them on toyhouse and asked about a refund

they said theyd get it to me when they had the money

they have continued to make adopts and such amd havent replied to my dms on discord

i asked to claim an adopt to get the situation over with (the adopt in question was a little on base $10 adopt) because i figured since its worth the same i can jus claim?

then they said smth abt needing the mons for food (which i completely understand, food before some art on the internet is a-ok) its just that ive been waiting sinccee

i understand its only been a month but its just a cat they need to color basically, the lines are already there; its their own base

PLEASE DO NOT WITCHUNT OR HARASS HIM. do not bully the user as well and do not say any harmful things to him.

klee owes me a raffle custom from may, and still hasn’t replied to the situation after months of asking for updates. i understand this is free, but after multiple times of me asking for an update even if it’s just a “i cant go through w the custom” i haven’t received an update at all

ignoring people’s dms aren’t really a professional behavior in a way, and another user has been scammed of money’s bf i’m asking for approval to post it

i know this is free and i didn’t pay anything but klee has agreed to do the custom even after i’ve asked in august, so i would normally expect a reply or something

tl;dr: dreamfes owes me a raffle custom and has said multiple times that he’ll do it but still haven’t and have not been replying to any of my dms

so he’s ALLEGEDLY sold kinsonas. i don’t know where the proof is but all i know is he makes dekudogs. if anyone has proof feel free to contact me.

i wish it didn’t have to come to this but i’m tired of this unprofessional behavior.

Also, I'm not 100% sure how much of an issue it is. It's free art after all, like you said, you're not losing money. I also didn't get some of the promised art for raffles in the past by other artists. It sucks, but it's normal to prioritize adopts and commissions, since those bring in actual money.
In my opinion, free art doesn't have an expiration date, and 3-4 months of waiting time is not an issue at all. I've got some of my free raffle art a year after, and it's fine. Learn to be a bit more patient and understanding and to not bug artists every couple of days to get the free art done for you; since that's not helping, it's just putting more stress on the artist.

this isnt really a problem. you arent scammed out of anything. you didnt pay anything. it sucks you cant get ur raffle prize but this alone does not warrant a beware. people are people. you cant expect them to be able to pop out stuff for free quickly. they have other paid stuff to do most likely.

GingerSnap like i said they literally do not need to do it as long as they tell me. i’ve ask multiple times and just by ignoring someone’s texts for updates who’s waiting on your art is very unprofessional in itself

yes, i know i can read. they arent required to make something for free. if they cancel ur raffle prize that doesnt warant a beware. i have read the comment the amount of time has been a month. if there are more then one people that havent got their customs done then a beware would be okay. but since there's one person with proof of them not having their custom made in a month and you got getting your raffle prize. if more people come out with information then a beware would be justified. but right now there isnt enough proof for one.

I don’t believe that this PSA shouldn’t be made abt the free art but what digital ghost‘s experience

As someone with a bunch of free stuff to do it gets fruastrating getting reminded of it when it’s free and unpaid for. I understand that but maybe they have alot going on or something from my understanding. I usually prioritize paid stuff than free stuff mainly because it’s more important to finish a commission than free art. Free art doesn’t have a date to end so you can take time out of your day and do it if you want it’s the artist decision.

Anyways about the commission I believe that should be posted instead and that person’s experience about this than the free art thing I feel like that is something that should be notified about more than the free art problem. People ignoring commissions is something that is always common and people need to be warned about it more.
