Has this person ever gone by Arez or Arezcore? I’ve traded them one of my designs and I swear that I’ve seen them before

T0hrus0cs is a scammer, who deletes characters from their species without consent, deletes characters off the website, sells non-tradeable characters away, and constantly makes new accounts to bypass their blacklist.
If you have a species, please be warned about them.

How to spot them?
If you find another account that is similar in age, uses numbers as letters, goes by "cherry", is 25, is a system, and has a similar artstyle, please be weary and definitely do not trade any characters to them!
T0hru will usually link a whole wall of characters as well if they're trading.

Please do not accuse or bring suspicion to users who you may think are T0HRU unless you are absolutely sure.
Those two don't even have the same art style, typing style, offering style, or profile style.
Please before you say a user's name, do some research on the user.
Pointing fingers carelessly does nothing but cause more harm and possibly causes unneeded negativity directed toward the user.

So I just realized that I paid $15 for a character from another user who got the character T0HRUS0CS. I'm not 100% what to do, I've reached out the user who sent it me, but owner but I doubt I'll hear them and/or they will know what to do either. remember the transaction. I'm not 100% certain, but I think they may have added value to the character?
SuperkumaX I don't believe there's much you can do about it. IMO it's fine to own it, but just be on the lookout for anything similar. If you do find anything, communicate with the original owner about it and figure out what to do from there ^^
All I'd say is refrain from actually selling or trading them for now

If your trade was valid and doesn't break the creator's TOS, you should be fine, but if you're concerned, you can find creators' TOS on the Ownership tab, and also view any transfer notes to see if the transactions have been noted. Tohru doesn't use transfer notes when trading, but you could check the previous transfer notes to see if the person who gave it to them noted any value. You could also try contacting the two people who gave the design to/received it from Tohru, and ask about what those trades were if you're worried about them having been upsold.
Regardless, as long as the character was legally traded, all art/the designer is properly credited, and the transfer notes don't show a change in Designer when it was in Tohru's possession, the character should be valid. Most users won't revoke a design once it's in safer hands, but it never hurts to check.
I guess I'm going to have to play detective then. There is no designer listed, and Tohru is credited as the creator of the character (which means that Tohru has their TOS for the character), as well as two art pieces. Previous owner also didn't use transfer notes when he transfered the character over to me (and he only had it for a month before I got it, so I have an inkling that he might have known of the issue with Tohru), so that leads is gone.
There are three users that attributed art that are not Tohru so I'll just reach out as see if their art was stolen. Worse case i'm out $15, best case, I'll have three pieces of art build a new character with it.
hello! i was looking through my ocs and i saw that i had two from this acc (T0HRUS0CS), and saw this thread when i googled them since i wondered why they had deleted.
anyways, the two ocs are from the cs clarephs, and i traded them for a foxtopus (which i co-own) slot. they have an account on the foxtopus site that hadnt been closed yet, but they were last active (character transfer wise) in january this year. (you can see a list of their character transfer history in foxtopus here - hopefully this helps keeping track of them. the account is also linked with a different toyhouse account that can't be accessed.) they've traded away all the slots they ever came in contact with and their 2 myos, and from what i can see, the trades look legitimate (as they only traded their own characters to other people.)
i checked the ownership tab for the clarephs i have, (persephone 💎 and amaterasu 🎴), and they were purchased from the same one artist and then traded to me, so they look legitimate as well, but i'll double check with the artist in a bit.
we've now banned them, but their foxtopus account and history should still be viewable (i double checked). i hope this helps somewhat...
artbymaxm they haven't been spotted on TH again yet, but if they are, it'll be posted here! Things seem safe for now.
