Oh s---. I purchased a character off them, it was fairly cheap (2$ I believe??). But wow, I just... I feel extremely sorry for those who were scammed hardcore. I will for sure be watching their account/accounts similar.
I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible, this is not because I have any kind of personal vendetta against this person, but because of the fact that they have repeatedly knowingly taken advantage of many people to turn a profit.
The user Pvff (same on da and chicken smoothie) blatantly ignores the TOS of any/every artist that they purchase characters from claiming that their own TOS overrides the TOS of the actual creator/s

Besides this entirely inappropriate behavior they have also

Basically among other shady dealings this person continually exploits people using their own "TOS" as an excuse to violate artist's/designer's and make a quick profit and when confronted attempts to delete any and all evidence that could you used to warn others.
I really hope this helps spread the word so more people don't have to have their TOS violated and their rights as an artist ignored.
ah, i know this person. never thought i'd be posting in this forum, but they bought about 18 characters off of me for CS pets, deleted the message i had sent them regarding the rules that some of the chars came with (including some that couldn't be sold/needed permission to be sold), then turned around and put them in a stash of over 1000 chars for sale, including cash sales. never really thought there was much i could do about it, especially considering the time that has passed since i noticed (it's been over a year according to my PMs on CS) does anyone know where they/their characters have gone? their chicken smoothie account has been inactive since march 6th.
She randomly gifted a majority of her characters off to people who wanted them when she claimed to be leaving Toyhou.se. It's highly unlikely you'll be able to find any of them. As for Pvff herself... well who knows.
Hi , i am here to say that i was scammed for 50 usd by that person because they traded me a stolen character claiming they were worth that price. Now i am looking for my lost baby so justice can be brought.
I was gifted a few of the characters, if anyone sees their characters in my folders and they weren't supposed to be traded / gifted let me know. She still has some of the characters she supposedly gave to me on old accounts for free / sale. :(

They apparently sold their account for animal jam items (at least I think that’s what they mean by black long, though it’s been years since I’ve played AJ) and changed their username to “XXX”.

Vendetta I think the grammar is bad on purpose and Pvff is still running the page trying to pretend she's gone. Like you can tell when it's faked bad grammar vs real bad grammar.

So whoever that's on the account (Pvff or otherwise) is most definitely reading this thread and your covno.
Although I do not have solid proof of this, I myself am convinced Pvff has created a new account on here called Character-House. I stumbled across this dA which buys characters for 1 point each, which immediately reminded me of Pvff's journals with the exact same concept. The journal promises not to resell characters, but only to trade them, which makes me suspect this claim is to make ammends to Pvff's past mistakes of reselling characters without permission. I have also found an account linked to Character-House with the intention of buying animal jam accounts. That account is here.
These claims are based off of my personal hunch, and even if this is not Pvff I would advise everyone to be careful if you come across this particular user or accounts like them. When somebody buys characters in bulk for the purpose of re-trading/selling, it's inevitable that the person will not keep track of every rule and TOS.
P0CKETKNIFE well fyi that person has a toyhouse under the same name Character-House. And as you said, whether this is the same person or not the mass buying/selling for so cheap and inflating prices (in so many cases) is really something to just avoid/watch out for....it's a really problematic thing that I see happening way too often and I heavily avoid anyone who does this.
Concerning the bad grammar on the XXX account, honestly it looks beyond fake and forced. I interact pretty often with people who don't speak english as their native language and tbqh the phrasing and forced 'chatspeak' looks really put in place to make people THINK that someone isn't literate.
